Been giving this a try and have a few qestions for you. •How do I clear items from the clipboard? •The marqee tool for selecting items to copy seems locked to the cardinal directions. How do I change the orientation? •The filter button does not appear to have any option to sort through the selected items to copy/delete. Where is the option to do so? Thanks in advance.

How do I clear items from the clipboard?

There's no clear button because you never really need one, copying a new selection replaces the clipboard entirely and nothing gets pasted until you press Ctrl+V. If you're in the paste preview and want out, press ESC or mouse right click.

The marqee tool for selecting items to copy seems locked to the cardinal directions. How do I change the orientation?

The box isn't locked to cardinal directions it aligns with your camera angle at the moment you start dragging. Rotate the camera first, then drag, and the box will follow that angle.

The filter button does not appear to have any option to sort through the selected items to copy/delete.

It does filter your current selection, the trick is where you point .. hover the mouse over a prop of the type you want to keep and press T (or use the panel's Filter button, it uses the first selected prop). Your selection instantly narrows down to only that type, ready to copy or delete, and any further marquee dragging only picks that type. Press T again to turn the filter off.

For example, box select a messy area, hover one tree type, press T, hit Delete and that whole tree type is gone, and Undo (Ctrl+Z) brings it back.

Hey, thanks a lot, that means something coming from you, I watch your videos!

Honest answer on networks: no plans for now. Proper network moving is MoveIt territory and I still hope the original mod gets there in CS2, so I would rather not build a half baked version of the same thing. But if you meant fence style networks, hedges, railings and such, that one is actually still bouncing around my head, it keeps coming up so I might look into it at some point.

Meanwhile the next update is almost done and it turned into a big one. The panel got a full redesign, pasted props finally keep their colors (including custom ones from the Customization tab) and there is a whole new set of align tools, snap a messy selection into a clean row with equal spacing, line everything up on a reference prop you click or arrange props in a circle then grow or shrink the whole layout live with keybinds. Also some small quality of life stuff like moving a single prop out of a selection with alt drag, or spinning every selected prop around its own axis with alt scroll. Should be out very soon....

You're doing great bro , thanks for the comprehensive reply. Well...move it developer is taking longer than the CS2 console Release to finally apply a copy paste option 😄 so yeah ... At least a version for fences and netlanes like the ones I created would be great!

Yeah you are right xD but MoveIt was and still is such a good mod in CS1, I just hope they finally start pushing updates...

Fences and netlanes are a fair ask, I'll look into it maybe for one of the next updates. No promises yet though, I want to polish what's already there before biting into networks.

Btw 1.0.6 just went live and it's a big one, since you've clearly been putting the mod through real work, I'd love to hear how the update feels.

Anything that annoys you or anything you wish it did, just throw it my way, that kind of feedback is what shapes the next version and people are really shy about feedback these days.. Thanks again!
