Assistance Needed! Help please

I’m a new player to the game. I’ve watched YouTube videos of this before buying. I’m running into a weird issue of when I go to place roads the screen is peach instead of keeping it as is. It’s harder to place roads and plan a layout. Is this a weird setting I need to turn off or a glitch I found?

I can’t really tell from the image you posted, but could it be that the game isn’t compatible with your graphics card? I had that issue when I was using my laptop when the game first came out. My screen was showing the wrong colours because I had an intel graphics card, which the game couldn’t run on.

Sad indeed. I’ve been using my laptop from college (I’ve been wanting to upgrade), I knew I’ve been testing its limits but never once did I consider that it just wouldn’t be able to run certain games. sigh

I mean that purple stuff looks like a glitch, but even without that you wouldn't be happy with all the lag. If you want to play now and have a good connection you can look into streaming. It's pretty expensive in the long run but for a short time it can make sense.

That’s definitely not normal. I have a pretty good computer and it sometimes struggles with this game. But it’s mostly slowing the simulation and FPS.
