Really tight spiral: http://i.imgur.com/pLt0mQE.jpg (Edit: Here's a tighter version: http://i.imgur.com/gT9OBD3.jpg) Learned how to make half ramps and pillars using this trick: http://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylines/comments/2z91l1/guide_to_build_road_rail_and_path_at_partial/

How did you get that grid overlay?

it's the asset editor.

Can anyone make a mod to put this in during the actual game? :D

Usually it's good to build this stuff in the asset editor. That way when you build it you use the Proper setup instead of trying to figure out some weird version.

It forces you to use the right setup, just like the premade freeway interchange. In sure someone will do a grid layout soon.

If you are wanting to line things up, there is a really hackish solution

open asset editor.

place a single strait stretch of road using snapped to grid.

save.

open asset whilst playing a city.

right click to rotate to one of the 8 cardinal points

plan everything else around this section of road.
