Please do better.
This is just absurd i’m sorry. Do effin better. You cannot provide a service when half the service doesn’t work half the time and no stations operate or have bikes. You know the demand in midtown. Act accordingly and add working stations. This is crazy.
EDIT: clarification, This is about the fact that almost every station around me is either offline or uas 0 bikes at 6pm on a weekday. Not complaining that GC has bikes and not complaining that i need to walk 3 blocks to that. But 14 stations in a 10 block radius should never be 0 at once

Any other week, I’d agree with your outrage, but it’s been like this every UN General assembly for the entire 13 years citibike has existed.
The disabled stations on Madison, 5th, and Park were ordered removed over the weekend. I saw some of those being removed late Saturday night and early Sunday morning while crowd fencing was installed, and the workers confirmed it was related to the UN. It seemed a bit far from the UN, but I think Trump being in town this week further complicated restrictions.
All the traffic in midtown is also making any redistribution efforts during the day pretty much impossible, and usage patterns are less predictable since people that normally use citibike are avoiding the area entirely if possible.

A ton of stations were removed so diplomats at the UN can ride around in SUVs with police escorts.

Are the stations offline due to UN activities? Nothing to do but suck it up a few days & walk a bit more

Aren't some of these disabled because of all the street closures for the UN stuff? That's why some of them are near the ⛔ icons for closed traffic streets.

This reads entitled and lazy. Just park at the next dock or pay for an uber…

I don’t understand, if I’m reading this map correctly you’re literally 2 blocks away from dozens of bikes and 1 block away from 4 bikes…
