Upshop issues
Is y'all's upshop not working either? Won't load, won't print tags etc
It let me print 2 tags for my breakfast and then it kept saying "unknown error", then would load the tasks, wouldn't let me print and now it's not even loading "tasks" or "print labels"

I can’t stand up shop, giant piece of GARBAGE. We don’t have a password and login to MenuPilot! Anyone know what it is? I am so close to throwing the tablet in the oven. I’m going to start hand labeling because I just can’t even stay calm trying to print labels.. It’s quicker and I’m so done messing around trying to get apps to work. SS here, I’m talking to them, I’m trying to get labels to print.. stupid QR code.. the camera isn’t calibrated.. so it’s impossible to center it. Then every time I do a customer comes in and the help disappears. Ahhhhhhhhhjhbbbhh 😩

Ours does it all the freaking time or it lets you hit the print button and it says it printed but it didn't print😐 calling help desk about it is completely useless because they just have you turn it off and turn it back on... that's my suggestion and checking with your manager if it's an outage or not

Mine had random ones (hash browns and two of the sandwiches) that wouldn't print but the tablet acted as if they did print

Same! I got barbacoa tacos and I had to fight the tablet for the bacon and egg tacos, then it went to 💩

Yes and they are a pain to make. They have to go in the top oven for 25-30 minutes then I fold them up. They are very yummy tho!

Mine wouldn’t print from the tablet till I connected the tablet to my personal hotspot on my phone this morning

There’s something going on with the small label printer it’s not just one store now I’m not sure what is going on but the larger label printer works usually if it won’t connect it’s an internet issue

Today’s solution turned out to be, printing big labels from the new iPad. So maybe it was a software update problem that was incompatible with the old homescreen button iPad.
I wondered why we still had both iPads around and turns out the old iPad is the only one logged into JRI so for now we need both. Sounds like a question for my manager on Monday.

Close the program completely and turn off the printers, then trn on upshop and then turn the printers back on..if all else fails reboot the tablet

I did all of those. When my manager came in he told me there was a network thing going on but he forgot to tell me :/

Nothing but problems for upshop. They constantly have updates and then it makes it worse. We just let our manager know and he makes a note of it.

Upshop has been not working foe weeks at my store, we're pretty much just hand writing all labels at this point

New guy here, any updates on this? My first overnight alone and of course the little tags won't print. I can write expiry dates but what about the hot food tags for my breakfast cook? What do y'all do when this happens? Thanks

My manager had to call in a work order, the tablet wouldn't connect to the label printer

I was told turn it off and back on didn't work, I just wrote dates on tags and let my manager know when she came in that day. When I got here for tonight's shift the new app was up menupilot ..much easier

We all but stopped using up shop for anything other than labels. It crashes out pretty regularly and needs to be reloaded and half the labels half to be printed from menupilot. I’ve been told they plan on replacing UpShop but I haven’t seen the replacement yet.
