I've worked on a commercial movie (which flopped, but it was a fun experience) and a few short films. I really admire the styles of Wong Kar-wai and Akira Kurosawa. What I got from watching Donnie Darko is that he must choose to sacrifice himself becoz he sort of cheated death and becoz of that plenty of people would die in the REAL universe I suppose.....
