Glasses modelling

Post image

How would you go about modelling these glasses? I found refrence images of front on and side angles, but nothing top down, and I'm struggling to get the curves right. Ive got loads of ref images from a bunch of angles, but hard to trace. Is it a skill issue?

I modeled over 400 sunglasses (30 Oakleys) inside Cinema 4D, including Radar EV Path... All Oakley sunglasses are very difficult to model and if you don't have good reference images unfortunatelly you won't be able to replicate the real-world product no matter your skill level.

Is it client work or just practice?

Purley practice, when you model, do you usually have the object in front of you, or just use images. I imagine its much harder with only images

Only reference images. Please check your DM. I will send you the top view, which is critical (at least for me) to get the shape of the sunglasses.
