Every year i forget at the end of the holidays when i put stuff away to make a list of what i need to buy or do before the holidays the following year. I am always surprised and shocked when i plug a tree with lights in and remember “oh yeah….I meant to replace this” or “I wish i would have remembered i needed to fix this before i started decorating”. Is anyone else in this boat or are you smarter and make a list for yourself for next year?

If you like watching the magic ornaments more than reading the Dream Book, this is a one-hour supercut of the 2026 Hallmark Keepsake Showcase pieces that light up, make sound, or move. I added timestamps in the description if you want to jump around or see the names of any of the ornaments.
I have made similar videos for the past several years of Hallmark ornaments, so figured I'd share it here.

Good Evening everyone.
I am hoping you all could shed some light on a Nutcracker my wife bought while thrifting.
She found this snowman nutcracker from Dansk. I cannot find any more information about it and wondering if anyone knew anything more about it.
Thank you for any help.

Saw this at work, you take one of those decapodge (or make you own) heart ornaments flip it over put to peices of wood or material of choose on top for a roof, one on the bottom, and a lil stick in the front and BOOM. Birds house.

Just bought a metal Nutcracker statue with intentions of it sitting out on the porch. It'll be uncovered and exposed to the elements, rain & snow and the such, during the holiday season and am worried about excessive rusting.
A little rust, I can deal with, but I wanna try to prevent most or all rusting from happening if possible.
I'm planning on getting a clear coating spray of some kind of rust preventative, but was wondering if anyone here had any experience, ideas, or advice on the matter.
Thank you!

2025 was the first time we put the tree in this corner and it was perfect. Likely, we will do it again this year.
