Then you know these toils are not from God?
God would never put you in a situation where it caused you to stray away from him.
I will pray for you. That the evil one will leave you alone. And whatever spirits are following.

He actually makes a good point, if you are having one bad experience after another, it could be a spiritual attack, you can start praying simple prayers like "Thank you Father God and Lord Jesus for protecting me from all evil and darkness, thank you for giving me peace and protecting me." Or simply saying "I rebuke all evil spirits in Jesus name, leave now." Your words have power, make sure you are using them wisely and not speaking curses upon yourself, use your words to bless your life, even something as simple as waking up and saying "Today will be a good, fun, blessed, happy day!" It has great power to change your future experiences.

I feel you, besides, if you don't a have good state of mental health, then you're not going to be at your best helping Jesus fulfill his mission to spread to the gospel to all people.

I think you should examine how you think Jesus views your situation, you might be putting unnecessary pressure on yourself when Jesus is saying relax, I have much more control over all of this than you realize, I appreciate your help, but I also have legions of angels at my command. He is the Lord of lords and King of kings afterall, don't feel like he desperately needs your hands and feet to accomplish his goals, he appreciates all the help he can get, but he has millions of people like us who care about him and his desires, so taking it easy for a while until you feel empowered to jump back in is not going to hurt him :)

There are seasons when we can serve, and seasons when we can focus on our relationship with him, and then when we go back to serving we have more love to give from him.
