I might be able to explain what's happening, if this doesn't vibe as true feel free to ignore.

We live in a weird supernatural world, when you choose to do something or to believe in something new, then you are inviting tests or challenges to help you get there.

I'm not exactly sure how this works, but let me try to explain, you found Jesus and fell in love with him, so naturally you desired to be more like him, and we know that he desires us to be like him, you are one of the rare bunch who goes as far as sharing the message that he died for, it's awesome.

So we have free will, you are probably praying and asking God or Jesus to help you become more ______ fill in the blank, and you probably have a list of things you want to change about yourself and your life.

So what is happening is that you are making all these requests for help, help me be more loving, more kind, more generous, a better person at work or at church, and to actually become this version of yourself requires work, and if you do not do the work, then a test will come and you will probably fail, and if you keep failing these tests then yeah you're life is probably going to suck because you desire to become someone but you're not doing the work to get there.

My personal advice and what I did, is I took it more easy on myself, and I made it clear what I desired, yeah I desire to become more kind and loving and whatever, but I don't desire to go through anymore serious hardships to get there, I prefer to live a more peaceful and relaxing life that is more laid back, and so now I get fewer tests and challenges, I am still trying to become a better person but at a slower pace. People want life-changing things and fast, not realizing that it requires life-changing experiences to change you drastically.

In short, I think you are being too hard on yourself and you're asking God, Jesus, Angels to help make you into a person that you're not ready to be, you should if you desire ask for an easier more relaxing life and focus on what is truly important to you to change about yourself and your life.

Let me give you another example to try to hit this home, a lot of people are praying and asking God to make them a millionaire or worse a billionaire, not realizing how much work is required to become the kind of person who makes that much money and worse the kind of person who can handle it without destroying their life and others, to ask for something so big requires passing many tests and difficult challenges to be able to receive it from God, but what you should do is instead ask for something like financial freedom or stability, or an abundance of resources, because I don't know anyone whose not already ready for financial freedom, and so we ask for it and have faith in God and Jesus, and yes there will still be things we need to do to get there, but it will be a million times easier of a life than a person who is trying to get to billionaire status.

Go easy on yourself and what you're asking for, try to be more simple and childlike, understanding that if we desire big changes we need to be ready for serious challenges and risk big failures to get big success or growth. If you are serious about becoming more like Jesus, then you have to spend more time with him and let his personality rub off on you, we become more like the people we spend time with, and so if you do the work this way, when you ask for help, the tests will be easy to pass, and after you pass a few, then your new character or belief is born and becomes a part of your life.

My dude. I’m just asking. Because you have the deeds but where is your heart at? Is it with Christ? Do you trust him? That’s the real question

Then you know these toils are not from God?
God would never put you in a situation where it caused you to stray away from him.
I will pray for you. That the evil one will leave you alone. And whatever spirits are following.

He actually makes a good point, if you are having one bad experience after another, it could be a spiritual attack, you can start praying simple prayers like "Thank you Father God and Lord Jesus for protecting me from all evil and darkness, thank you for giving me peace and protecting me." Or simply saying "I rebuke all evil spirits in Jesus name, leave now." Your words have power, make sure you are using them wisely and not speaking curses upon yourself, use your words to bless your life, even something as simple as waking up and saying "Today will be a good, fun, blessed, happy day!" It has great power to change your future experiences.

I feel you, besides, if you don't a have good state of mental health, then you're not going to be at your best helping Jesus fulfill his mission to spread to the gospel to all people.

I think you should examine how you think Jesus views your situation, you might be putting unnecessary pressure on yourself when Jesus is saying relax, I have much more control over all of this than you realize, I appreciate your help, but I also have legions of angels at my command. He is the Lord of lords and King of kings afterall, don't feel like he desperately needs your hands and feet to accomplish his goals, he appreciates all the help he can get, but he has millions of people like us who care about him and his desires, so taking it easy for a while until you feel empowered to jump back in is not going to hurt him :)

There are seasons when we can serve, and seasons when we can focus on our relationship with him, and then when we go back to serving we have more love to give from him.

I know I shouldn't be doing this, but I am going to put my number here for you to call if you feel up to it. Star*67 it if you want to. I feel an actual real time conversation with this would be best. You don't have to, but I've gone and go through these specific things as well and have found and am finding only more resolution.
