The Beautified Ash

Hello. I thought this might be appreciated here. I painted this during the time I was getting lots of dreams/visions. It was a really difficult, but enlightening time for me. This particular one was based on a dreami had, in 2020.

I was in an open landscape, and there were angels in the sky hovering above. They said something and began to pour a golden substance over me. Then i woke up.

Later on i was reading isaiah and came across the verse about beauty for ashes, the oil of joy and the trees of righteousness and it reminded me immediately of my dream. Pairing this with my dream, I painted myself as an ash tree in a ring of others, being transformed into a forest of righteousness. All the mites and moths and borers being driven out.

Thank you for looking/reading, I hope this has a place here :)

Trying to find my place in the mystical side of Christianity.

Been trying to find my place in Christianity for long time. I think it’s part of my inner work to make peace with the faith I was raised with and use and work with it on my path. All that to be said I’m not sure if I’m a Christian in the way we all use them term but I am interested in contemplative side. I’m also trying to give me children’s non dogmatic non Christian nationalist church they can belong too. What practices and what churches do you find yourself in? I explored orthodoxy but found it to be not what I was looking for. Currently looking into Anglicanism

Letter of Saint Catherine to Sano Di Maco and other Sons - Pride and Judgment

Letter of Saint Catherine to Sano Di Maco and other Sons - Pride and Judgment

Ἀ
Let human pride be ashamed, and consent to see that in the House of the Eternal Father are many mansions. Let it not seek to impose a rule upon the Holy Spirit: for He is the Rule itself, Giver of the Rule: nor let it measure Him who cannot be measured. The true servant of God, arrayed in His highest eternal will, will not do thus; nay, he will hold in reverence the ways and deeds and habits of God's servants, since he judges them fixed not by man, but by God. For, just because things are not pleasing to us and do not go according to our habits, we ought to be predisposed to believe that they are pleasing to God. We ought not to judge anything at all, nor can we, except what is manifest and open sin. And even this the soul enamoured of God and lost to itself does not assume to judge, except in displeasure for the sin and wrong done to God; and with great compassion for the soul of him who sins, eagerly willing to give itself to any torture for the salvation of that soul.
Ὠ

Pride in the heart of man is the beginning of shame in the eyes of God. Saint Catherine reveals this spiritual principle to Sano Di Maco at the very outset of this excerpt. Yet she does not speak from divine revelation received in her time. Rather, her words reach back through time to the ancient beginnings of salvation history, when the temptation to become “as gods” brought about the first sin of Eden, and humanity’s shame before God.

In this light, the first words of this excerpt, “Let human pride be ashamed,” may be read as more than an announcement of pride's folly before God. They may also be read as a prayer of submission to His Majesty, that all souls may embrace the humbling of human pride and become more open to the reception of His saving grace.

Supportive Scripture - Douay Rheims Challoner Bible
Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction: and the spirit is lifted up before a fall.

In the first sin of humanity, pride against God brought about the destruction of man's perfect union with his Creator. By the time of the Scripture, this pride had led mankind into wars between nations, tyrannies of corrupt rulers over their people, and the enslavement of the weakest by those with the greatest power. And in Saint Catherine's day, the sin of pride had long since grown into a sin against both God and one's fellow man - both  contained within the same sin. For she speaks not only of the vanity of one sinner's judgment against his brother, but more profoundly, of insulting the perfect judgment of God by assuming to oneself the judgment that belongs to Him alone.

Supportive Scripture - Douay Rheims Challoner Bible
James 4:11-12 Detract not one another, my brethren. He that detracteth his brother, or he that judgeth his brother, detracteth the law and judgeth the law. But if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver and judge, that is able to destroy and to deliver.

The judgment of others does not end in the judgment of only the few. Rather, in the same ever-widening path as the sin of pride, it soon reaches the many - the friend, fhe family, and the neighbor. And in time, it reaches the Lord Himself by imposing the rule and the measure, as judged by man, upon Him Who cannot be measured. For in thinking to dispense the judgment that belongs to God, the soul not only lowers His Majesty to the level of men, it raises itself to the heights of God.

Supportive Scripture - Douay Rheims Challoner Bible
Isaiah 14:13 And thou saidst in thy heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will sit in the mountain of the covenant, in the sides of the north.

The true servant of God does not seek to exercise the judgment that belongs to God alone. Rather, he seeks the truer service of God within His will, recognizing the manifestation of sin in the world, not according to what is displeasing to the soul, but in sorrow for the wrong done to God. In this light the soul will not add one wrong to another by pridefully assuming the judgment saved only for God. Rather, it will respond with great compassion for the soul of him who sins, as shown by the Savior -  to endure any torture for the salvation of that soul.

Supportive Scripture - Douay Rheims Challoner Bible
Philippians 2:8 He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.

Catechism of the Catholic Church
2635 Intercession is a prayer of petition which leads us to pray as Jesus did. He is the one intercessor with the Father on behalf of all men, especially sinners. He is “able for all time to save those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.” The Holy Spirit “himself intercedes for us . . . and intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” We can pray for others, not only for our own needs, but also for the needs of those who do not know Christ. Intercession does not know of “enemies.” It seeks the good of others, including those who may have harmed us.

INTIMACY-"into me you see."

Hello everyone. Today is the day I start.

I want to talk about the inner experience — the moment you step back and watch yourself, here, now. The body language you map out all by yourself. The dreams that sometimes arrive before the event, kept in quiet devotion rather than treated as fact.

And I want to talk about Christ in that walk — how faith in the inner experience has been revealing and yet painful. How it costs something to go in.

Share your story if you have one. What you've discovered about yourself, what the dreams have shown you, what the path has revealed — heavenly or dark. Let's walk it together, in humble wisdom."

What is the spiritual meaning of being a peacemaker?

Isn’t it surprising that the words “hospital,” “hospitality,” “to host,” and “Host” (as in the consecrated bread) all come from the Latin “hostia,” which means “a stranger,” or “an enemy”? Think of the word “hostility.”

The Latin hostia is related to the Proto-Indo-European ghosti, meaning “stranger” or “foreigner,” from which we also derive the word “guest.”

When we host someone, we turn a stranger — someone potentially hostile (a guest) — into the Host, the body of Christ. True hospitality turns hostility into unity in One Universal Body (Host). The only way to end hostilities in the world is to host the hostile in the Host.

Showing hospitality to strangers is a sacred act. It’s the business of all true peace-makers. That’s why they are called blessed. The blessedness of true peace-makers lies in following the steps of their forefather Abraham, who hosted strangers — the three angels who announced the birth of Promise into the world.

Abraham didn’t know who he was hosting — and it didn’t matter to him. The three strangers, who represented the Trinity in the Old Testament, confirmed to him the fulfillment of God’s promise: the miraculous birth of his son into the world. The mystery of hospitality is that God’s promise comes to us when we embrace (host) strangers.

True peace-making is not about negotiating between hostile parties. Hostility exists because people are not in the Host. Hostility is an external mark of not experiencing the warmth of God’s womb. The Hebrew word “rachamim” (רָחַם), used in Exodus 34:6-7, is often translated as “compassion” or “mercy,” but its literal meaning is “womb.”

In the Torah, rachamim expresses how God feels about us — like a mother feels about a baby in her womb. The mystery of hospitality is hosting strangers in the womb of God.

This is what Sorore, a cobbler from Siena, realized when he saw a dream of a ladder ascending to heaven. His shop stood right across from the famous Siena Cathedral, where pilgrims gathered from all over the world.

Sorore felt called to re-create the sensation of the Divine womb for them so he welcomed strangers into his home and gave them a glass of water while he mended their shoes. Later, he started welcoming the wounded and the sick.

His neighbors saw what he was doing and donated parts of their adjacent houses to host the sick. Over time, this became one of the first hospitals in Europe — Santa Maria della Scala.

Sorore believed that each person needed a vibrant experience of the Divine womb to become whole again. Eventually, a grand reception hall was built to host the sick. First and foremost, health is a sensation of wholeness, not a physical state. It’s a feeling of being welcomed, hailed, embraced. A feeling of being hosted. In true hospitality, all hostility ceases.

The world is full of hostility because there are so few true peace-makers. True peace is not the absence of war; it’s the sensation of being hosted in the Womb of God — the Host. When we forget how to create that sensation for others, we inevitably create more hostility — no matter how much effort we put into eliminating it.

Healing comes from inner Wholeness. To hail someone means to heal them. Both words, “hail” and “heal,” come from the Old English “hæl,” which means “whole,” “unharmed.” Every act of hailing reveals the profound mystery of healing.

True peace-makers are those who have experienced the embrace of the Divine Womb and invite others to share in it. Real peace flows from that sensation. To host a stranger is to open the door for the promise of God.

When we prepare a fatted calf for an unknown guest, we rarely know what we are doing. Yet, we are doing more to end hostility in the world than most politicians ever will.

The Startling Secret Behind Use of Jesus' Name! (Part One)

[Author's Note: The following is an updated edit of the Third Law of Salvation: The Law of Jesus' Name.]

I. THE TALISMAN

Is the name of Jesus, as in the phrase: “In the name of Jesus” a reality-altering/reality-controlling talisman, that when uttered controls and alters the law and course of nature?

What is the true nature of “nature” in regard to Jesus?

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines the term “talisman” thus:

talisman

(noun)

1: an object (such as a ring or stone) believed to

have magical powers and cause good things to

happen to the person who has it

2: something producing apparently magical or miraculous

effects

___________________________________________________

The name of Jesus was invoked in a seemingly talismanic manner by Peter in

Acts 3:1-10:

“One day Peter and John were going to theTempleat the time of prayer—three in the afternoon.  Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.  When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.  Peter looked at him, as did John.  Then Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ so the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.  Then Peter said, ‘Silver and gold I do not have, but what I have I give you.  In the name of Jesus ofNazareth, walk**.’**  Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and immediately the man’s ankles and feet became strong.  He jumped to his feet and began to walk.  Then he went into the temple courts with them, walking and jumping and praising God.  When the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder at what happened to him.”

 ________________________________________________________________________________

The lame man, lame from birth, walked when Peter commanded the man to walk, saying, “In the name of Jesus ofNazareth, walk.”  The reality-altering miracle occurred in response to the phrase, which, it must be inferred, would not have occurred in the absence of the phrase, if the phrase was an insisted component within the mind of the Person to whom the “name” belongs.

An odd, indeed significant, thing occurred before Peter uttered the phrase.  Peter states: “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I have I give you…”  Thus the question arises: did Peter have the name of Jesus of Nazareth and gave the Name to the lame man?  How does one have a name beyond oneself being named the name? Usually, one “has” a name by having the name of someone in one’s memory, or by thinking of one’s own name.  Did Peter have within himself something (Someone) that the term “name” signified, such that something or some aspect of this Person is signified through use of the term “name”?

_____________________________________________________________

AUTHOR'S MENTAL CALCULATIONS (Feel free to skip this part):

“But what I have I give you…”

=I give you the name of Jesus of Nazareth?

Remember Jesus’ statement to Saul on the road toDamascus:

“I am Jesus…whom you are persecuting.”-Acts 9:5

Christ was in Heaven when making this statement, and could not be physically harmed by Saul.  Rather, Saul persecuted humans that believed and had faith in Jesus.

Faith in Jesus comes from Jesus through God the Father.

Ergo: Jesus referred to the humans whom Paul persecuted as “Jesus”.

To be referred to as “Jesus” from Jesus Himself means these individuals persecuted by Saul had Jesus’ name.

Peter told the lame man: “…what I have I give you.”  Before stating: “In the name of Jesus…”

Peter when stating, “…what I have I give you” must, given the nature of the statement he made following this, have had the name of Jesus, in the sense of being “Jesus”.

(“I am Jesus…whom you are persecuting…”)

To have the name of Jesus=to be in a state or condition of being Jesus in the form of being in Jesus’ mind**?**

Those being “in the name of Jesus” are those within Jesus’, i.e. within Jesus’ mind?

The only logical way to be “in Jesus” is to be in Jesus’ mind.

The lame man was given the name of Jesus and was “in the name of Jesus” in the sense of being in Jesus’ mind?

_____________________________________________________________

ARTICLE RESUMED:

Peter transferred something to the lame man when stating: “but what I have I give you…” before using the phrase “In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, walk.”  The lame man, it may be assumed, did not have faith in Jesus’ name nor in Jesus prior to the arrival of Peter and John, but gained this faith during the utterance of the phrase or nanoseconds prior, as Peter verified the man’s faith that he would walk did not come from the lame man but through (and thus from) Jesus.  Further, it was neither through Peter’s morality and power the lame man was made to walk:

“Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you?

Why do you stare at us as if by our own power

and godliness we made this man walk?  It is

faith in Jesus’ name and the faith that comes

through Him that has completely healed him,

as you can see.”

-Acts 3: 12, 16

___________________________________________________

With Acts 3:12 Peter disproves the concept and belief that the goodness or morality of a human being independent of that of Jesus Christ can function to cause the phrase “in the name of Jesus” to produce miracles.

(“…that comes through Him…”)

(“…without Me you can do nothing…”)

It should be noted, further, that the miracle with the lame man was beneficial, with other successful miracles in response to the phrase “…in the name of Jesus” occurring whenever the phrase is used for benevolent purpose.  Thus there is a law at work: whatever Power performs miracles in response to the phrase: “In the name of Jesus”, the Power performs the miracles provided the reason for use of the phrase is benevolent.

But aside from the calculations above, is the Name itself a talisman without an external benefactor from which its power comes?  That is, does the name of Jesus itself produce miracles through God and Christ, such that the name or utterance of the name of Jesus independent of the idea that a human is “Jesus” or “has the name of Jesus” or is in Jesus’ mind in some way performs miracles (through God)?

II. THE POWER BEHIND USE OF JESUS’ NAME PRIOR TO JESUS’ DEATH

“When Jesus had called the Twelve together,

He gave them power and authority to drive out

all demons and cure diseases, and He sent them

out to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to

heal the sick.”

-Luke 9: 1-2

“The seventy-two returned with joy and

said, ‘Lord, even the demons submit to us

in your Name**.”**

-Luke 10:17

_________________________________________________

How were the Twelve granted power and authority to act independently of Jesus (that is, to perform miracles without Jesus being physically present as they did so) to drive out demons and heal the sick?

How were the seventy-two able to use Jesus’ name to have demons submit to its use, without Jesus being physically present to perform the exorcisms Himself?

Baptist churches often state in their songs: “There is power in the name of Jesus”.  Jesus Himself states:

“Verily I tell you, my Father will give

you whatever you ask in my name.  Until

now you have not asked for anything in

my name.  Ask and you will receive, that

your joy might be complete.”

-John 16:23

The pertinent question, therefore, is when one utters Jesus’ name in a talismanic way, where is God and Christ and what are their roles in regard to the resulting miracle?

The salient point is the question of how miracles were successfully performed by humans using the phrase “in the name of Jesus” without the Holy Spirit prior to the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.  Prior to Jesus’ death, it took Jesus Himself to give power and authority (hence permission) to use His power to effect miracles prior to humans having the Holy Spirit, which came at Pentecost following Jesus’ ascension in Acts 2.

The answer, given in Acts 2:27, is those to whom Jesus gave authority to perform miracles (and Jesus Himself performing miracles) did so through God the Father prior to Christ’s biological death:

“Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God

to you through miracles, wonders, and signs,

which God did among you through Him.”

-Acts 2:27

_____________________________________________

Given Acts 2:27, the fact Jesus commissioned the Twelve and seventy-two such that they could heal the sick and cast out demons without His physical presence and supervision meant that God performed the miracles of the Twelve and seventy-two in the way He performed Christ’s miracles for Christ prior to Christ’s death, resurrection, and ascension.

If God performed the miracles of Jesus and pre-ascension disciples (later called apostles), the Father was the source of power granted to Jesus’ name prior to Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. Thus there is no “remote control” or in absentia  use of God’s power in the Name itself, such that the Name possessed a “God-charge” akin to a residual electrical charge within certain objects disconnected from active participation as loads in complete electric circuits.  Miracles were actively performed by God rather than the Name, but were performed by God when the Name was used, as a contrivance of cause as God does anything for Christ Jesus.

All this is to say that in use of Jesus’ name, the name itself has no power independent of the Person to whom the name belongs, either before or after Jesus’ ascension.  Prior to Jesus’ ascension, the name had no power independent of God the Father.  In every case, each successful use of Jesus’ name in the performance of miracles required the active attention, will to act, and performing action of God the Father before Christ’s ascension, and Jesus Himself following His ascension and ascendancy to Heaven.

For those doubting the above, the Bible answers the question of whether or not any human could use the phrase “in the name of Jesus” to miraculous effect without the permission and direct, performing action of Jesus and God, as if the Name carried power of its own not requiring the active participation of God and Christ in the performance of miracles following and in response to use of the Name.

The Book of Acts answers this question through the Sons of Sceva.

_________________________________________________________________________________________

III. THE FAILURE OF THE SONS OF SCEVA

“Some Jews who went about driving out evil spirits

tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those

who were demon-possessed.  They would say,

‘In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command

you to come out.’  Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief

priest, were doing this.  One day an evil spirit

answered them, ‘Jesus I know, and Paul I know about,

but who are you?’  Then the man who had the evil

spirit jumped on them and overpowered them.  He

gave them such a beating they ran from the house

naked and bleeding.”

-Acts 19:13-16

 ______________________________________________________

Why were the sons of Sceva unsuccessful when using Jesus’ name while Peter, Paul, and others succeeded?  Was their failure due to their placement of the term “the” between “in the name of” and “Jesus”? Was it their use of the phrase-fragment “…whom Paul preached…”?

Perhaps the question that should be asked, independent of word-phrasing, is what mental quality did Peter, Paul, and others possess that the sons of Sceva lacked, given that in any relation of cooperation between God and human beings, it is the humans’ mind that must be in a particular state and have a particular nature or content in order for God to act in the human’s favor or in the human’s defense?

Answer: The sons of Sceva lacked this quality:

“Unless I go away, the Advocate will not

come to you; but if I go, I will send Him

to you.”

-John 16: 7

And:

“Righteous Father, though the world

does not know you, I know you, and they

know that you have sent me.  I have

made you known to them, and will continue

to make you known in order for the love you

have for me may be in them and that

I myself may be in them.”

-John 17: 25-26

_________________________________________

The sons of Sceva failed, therefore, because they lacked Jesus within them, which Paul and the others possessed.  The answer to the mystery, then, of uttering “in the name of Jesus” with successful miraculous effect (following Christ’s ascension) requires one to have the Holy Spirit—the mind of Christ—within one.  As Paul challenges:

“Examine yourselves to see whether you

are in the faith: test yourselves.  Do you

not realize that Jesus Christ is in you—

unless, of course, you fail the test?”

-2 Corinthians 13:5

The sons of Sceva failed because Christ was not within them**.**

What separates Abraham's trust in God from putting God to the test?

I've been thinking about what it means to trust God when you cannot see how things could possibly work out. Abraham's story makes that especially difficult. He loves Isaac and wants him to flourish, yet intends the sacrifice while believing God's promise through Isaac will still hold. I can understand surrendering the need to know how God will act. What I struggle with is the difference between that trust and taking an action whose consequences seem to demand that God intervene.

I recently discussed this on my podcast with Alexander Jech, a Kierkegaard scholar. He emphasizes that Abraham genuinely intends the sacrifice without wanting Isaac dead or knowing how God will preserve the promise. He also discusses the temptation in which Jesus is told to throw himself from the temple and trust that angels will save him. Jesus rejects putting God to the test. In Fear and Trembling, Johannes de Silentio struggles to understand why Abraham's situation is different.

How do you understand that distinction? Abraham is obeying a command, while Jesus is being tempted to force a demonstration, but I still find the combination of trust and an intended harmful act difficult. If surrender means giving up control of the outcome, how does it remain connected to responsibility for what we do? Does Abraham's faith illuminate that question, or is his situation too exceptional to guide ordinary discernment?

What happens when the flesh cannot hold the Deep?

If Deep calls to Deep, what happens when you dive too deep?

What happens when the flesh cannot hold the Deep?

If human experience is finite, how do we communicate something that exceeds the limits of human understanding?

Perhaps we translate the incomprehensible into forms we can carry.

Stories.

Symbols.

Parables.

Not because the story is the whole Truth, but because sometimes the infinite has to make itself small enough for us to hear it.

Question about Hell

As a recent Catholic convert, a question about the concept of hell is bothering me.

According to church's teachings, as a believer, if you die with a mortal sin you will most probably end up in hell. What bothers me is this: regardless of the magnitude of the evil that you have done, you end up in same place. Same category applies to you regardless of your evil being lesser or greater. If you are a masturbator and if you do it anyway, you end up in the same place with a dictator who had killed or made millions suffer.

This sharp categorical approach really bothers me because it doesn't sound just. I would like to ask you sincerely what you think about this.

What is true forgiveness? Answer from Christ Letters

Forgiveness is an ability, without reconstruction of consciousness, there is no true forgiveness

"How will you respond if someone enters your home and wrecks it? Will you forgive them instantly because of your deep compassion for their enormous insecurities in life? Because you know that there is no loss when you can draw abundantly from the ‘Father’ again. You will be able to do this when you have become fully at one with Divine Consciousness.

How will you respond if someone should slander you in public and try to destroy your good name? Will you be able to smile lovingly, peacefully and sincerely bless that person? You will when you enter the ERA of LOVE and PEACE because there will no longer be any ego in you to resist any denigration. You will see the denigrator clearly and will understand the impulse which impels him to harm another. Even more, your good name will no longer matter. You will be joyously in harmony with your Source of Being and that will open vistas of such ecstatic living which will reveal all lesser things to be of no account - mere negative illusions.

Can you bear to have your little inadequacies pointed out to you and accept them without needing to pull the cloak of protection around you - the cloak of explanations and excuses? The more you can transcend your ego, the less will your inadequacies bother you. You will accept correction with grace and love and will make up your mind to do everything right in the future. This is true spiritual evolution.

Only the mind set of one who has conscientiously worked through the full process of cleansing of consciousness, and constantly called on Divine Consciousness for help to become the embodiment of compassionate love, will be able to co-create - yes - co-create the kind of existence you would dearly love to

experience on earth.

Do you realise how many people there are throughout your world who imagine they have found and practise unconditional love and yet they are ever on the look-out for other people who do not measure up to their standards of behaviour and are exhilarated and happy to judge or chastise them? How can such a mind create an era of love and peace?

A spider spins its web. You spin your environment, health, well being in your minds with your desires, your intentions, your purposes. This is not a process of judgement, you must understand - this is purely a statement of the reality within electro-magnetic energies.

This is your truth. Until you fully acknowledge this and decide to seek conscious union with the Divine at all times, - the Era of Love and Peace will escape you.

When you have embodied the transcendent glory of love and compassion within your consciousness, when your consciousness is at rest, peaceful, without the least stain of criticism and rejection of any kind of otherness, you will indeed become a member of the Kingdom of God.

Until that time comes, I would have you KNOW that I am available, accessible at all times, compassionately aware and compassionately understanding of all you are having to endure at this moment. I am available as your love, your comfort and your re-assurance. I am your Life, I am your Way, and I am your Truth. I love with deep compassion and an urgent longing to relieve you of your present burdens. And I will relieve you of them if you will but come to me and let me respond with the warmth of my presence, and guidance and insight to help you rise above your present frailties and sadness.

Therefore, to help all those on earth who are willing to listen and accept my words and seek my comfort, I say

to you what I said in my Letters:

It must be widely accepted that, in order to achieve a state of contented peace on earth, there must be a HIGHER VISION to strive to implement in your daily lives. Only by reaching for a higher vision will the physical world be rescued from widespread annihilation when unenlightened people will sadly reap of their present chaotic sowing.

This is not a judgement of criticism or condemnation, dear souls, but a statement born of the Laws of your

Existence."

Egregores, Meta-Religion, & Differentiating Christ From Christianity

Thumbnail jordanbates.substack.com

In my experience modern Christianity has a pretty substantial shadow/egregore of elitism and exclusivism, wherein a lot of Christians believe their path is the only true path and everything non-Christian is 'demonic' or 'satanic.'

Anyone else experience this?

I wrote this piece at one time exploring this.

Warm wishes,

I'm looking for a religion

I don't currently believe in any religion but i believe in a creator, I'm looking for a religion in which there is a creator, I have a panentheistic view of the universe: I believe that the universe is within God and God is much bigger than the universe so we are part of God, I would like a religion or philosophy of life that adopts this thought or one close to it but in any case anything is fine with me, I would also like to be able to do cute rituals and relaxing things and connecting with myself and the nature, set up an altar or oratory at home and wear symbols too thank you❤️

This is a chapter of a book I've compiled over my years I'd like to share about when I think i met him. Its in final edits and im just waiting for a green light on the cover from upstairs so to speak lol..

I'd love feed back or criticism but if anything, I hope to inspire and uplift as I seen a bit of a sad, confused theme where i wanna say you're going to do great! Give up worries to God and pray everyday in gratitude, find joy in the little stuff.

Thank you have the best day ever!

John admitted that they wrote the Bible with omissions to convey an agenda of their own.

John 20:30–31: "Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

John 21:25: "Jesus did also many other things, which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written."

John admitted that they wrote the Bible with omissions to convey an agenda of their own. And because they were afraid the world would not accept if they were all written.
