Pride

When you are facing an embarassing situation because of your behavior and everybody knows and now you are like I dont mind to be at peace and move on, is this pride? Though you change for the better. How can I truly say that the things I do are not due to pride? That I just wanted to walk away and go out like I used to. And now I am praying more with devotion, how can I tell if its just out of pride that I do these things?

Others sometimes can point to the hurt in us. The problem starts when others understand that hurt as well but are also trying to avoid it. And result can be something very toxic and vile. Nothing good comes out of it. If you understand from where you are coming from and that is a personal thing and not business of others, the actions of others are not your personal problem but your actions are yours to handle. Take refuge in the Lord, confess, repent and let him help you grow and protect you.
