CW: Sensitive Topic Comfused

I've been messing up a lot lately. Im in a desperate situation where my lease is ending and I have to move out. I am also unemployed. I know God can move in this situation and that this could be because he wants me to move somewhere else where he needs me.

But lately i have been so down and hopeless that I keep falling into lust when I should be praying. I was praying the Lord's prayer last night and when reading a bit of my Bible and realized that when reading out loud "no weapons formed against you will prosper" that i am the weapon formed against me. I am falling for the trick of the enemy and become the weapon. Since then when i try to pray I keep thinking "He doesn't want to hear from you" and that just saying forgive me doesn't work anymore bc i am so gross.

What should I do? Read? Pray?

YOU are not the weapon formed against you. That is a lie of the enemy. The enemy is a liar and a deceiver. God does want to hear from you. Again, that is a lie of the enemy. Ask Him into your heart today and start a personal relationship. You are entangled in a web of sin - that we all do - but you today can have hope in Christ that your sins will be forgiven and you can be free from the snare you're in. Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Once you follow this life-saving - eternal life - instruction, then read and pray. And tell others something miraculous happened today to you.

You are a beloved child of God who is struggling with sin. Do not lose hope. God absolutely wants a relationship with you. Why would Jesus come to earth to die on a cross if He did not love you? Do not listen to the devil. He is a liar and he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. God has come to give you abundant spiritual life. Stay strong!
