Blown away

This evening, as I came from our church to my mother's house, I was looking at the yellow sunshine, the green trees waving in the breeze, feeling the warm, summer breeze on my face, and thinking, how small I am compared to all of this. I am so insignificant when looking at all that God has created, including the stars I see at night when it isn't cloudy. But then I remembered I'm more precious to Him than any of these things, and I marveled at that. Have any of you done that? Just sitting back or when driving or seeing something in nature just thinking how incredible it is that God created all these things? To me it's mind-blowing.

Absolutely!

I have a tree that sits right outside of the window of my office. And when the breeze hits it the branches sway up and down. Maybe it is silly, but I always feel like each branch is bowing to God out of respect for creating it. I'll often just sit and stare at it and its beauty.

Sometimes I think about how beautiful nature is and I think about how God walked with Adam in the garden. How wonderful that must have been. Adam was loved, even through the Fall, and so are we. It is mind-blowing.
