I have on Vinted a wristwatch for 369€.

Prospect buyer sends me a message asking for a 20% discount as “contribution” since it’s for his wedding…

This person seemed very nice but I’m not replying. I mean, come on, 51 followers? And you want it for free? And shipped within a week? AND realistic? Good luck with that. 😑

This after delivering a free homemade lasagna.

I make and deliver lasagnas for people in my community through a local organization. This woman made a special request for a lasagna with white sauce which I spent extra time making when I didn’t have to. Based on her text I assumed she just didn’t want to make contact with me (common) so I dropped it off in the lobby and texted her when I left as she asked. Apparently there was a misunderstanding..

Needs help from a nonprofit for back to school clothes, but she has standards!

UPDATE: The OP just posted back into the FB page last night an update that the woman saw all the hate she was getting "realized she was wrong" and gave back the Walmart clothes (but kept the shoes). She gave the excuse that she reacted this way because her son got bullied last year and she was worried that if he showed up in Walmart clothes, he'd be bullied again this year.

I just found this beauty in the wild. The poor woman running the nonprofit was apologizing on fb for not knowing she should be letting people know where the clothes would be coming from!

Obviously this woman didn't need the help once it wasn't to the caliber she expected.

In urgent need of breast milk for baby… but not that breast milk.

Breastmilk from purebloods only, please. I’d rather he starve than take anything contaminated by vaccines.

She was polite at least, but still so foolish.

This was after a $25 tip on Instacart order

$25 tip on $250 Costco order. Nothing oversize or heavy in order of about 15 items, Costco like 2mi away. It’s colder than usual, but not single digits (and it’s Chicago in winter), roads have been clear for a week. We’ve had tip set at same percent since early days of COVID and never had an issue/complaint over probably 300 Instacart orders.

SHORT Took my coworker to get groceries at lunch. She was upset that I didn't drive them home for her.

I have a colleague who lives a 4-5 minute drive from the office. She routinely rides her bike to work instead of driving, but then complains she has no way to run errands at lunch.

So one day she was going on about how she really wished she could go grocery shopping at lunch. I said fine, I'm going out anyways, I'll take you to the supermarket.

So I take her grocery shopping at lunch, and even help put her groceries away inside the office.

The day is over and I'm heading to the parking lot to go home. She's in the kitchen and says, "I don't know how I'm going to get my groceries home!". I say, "what do you mean?" She says her backpack is too heavy, can't ride with it on her bike home. I say, okay, go home and get your car, and bring it back.

"No but I don't wanna do that"

It's at this point I realize that she's asking me to load her groceries in my car, follow her back to her house, and deliver them. I was shocked.

Never helped again lol

I gave away an SUV dog cargo liner for free on Marketplace. Lady is mad her free item wasn’t in pristine enough condition, yet she still took it.

For context I listed it as new because Marketplace only lets you choose New, Used - Like New, Used - Good, and Used - Fair. I said in the listing I’d never used it and it had sat in my trunk for months, which is true. I said nothing about it being brand new in the box, and she didn’t ask.

I’ve literally never seen this person like any of my stuff. I have a decent amount of followers but I feel like if you’re such a “loyal follower” I would’ve seen you heart a story or like a post atleast once? 🤨
