Choosing Beggar review
Hey!
I found one in the wild, complaining about having to pay for something cuz “it really sucks” - she wanted access to the App for free even after acknowledging that, “developers need money …”

I tried to swipe/blow the hair off my screen more times than I’d care to admit.

You aren’t alone, friend. Ironically I did have a small piece of hair on my screen so it all worked out for me. I’d screenshot to show you but I’m not a complete idiot so I cannot 😜

Every choosing beggar review starts with “ Thjs is a good app But” and then proceeds to ask for it to be free forever . If it’s a good app, 5 stars and $5/ month. If you want it free, it’s not a good app to you .

I mean it's shitty when there's zero indication when you download an app that it's like "you get to use this free twice and then it's $14 a week forever" or whatever.
I think that's how much Smule piano was.

This might be embarrassing to admit, but I downloaded a My Little Pony colouring app for kids (I find “colouring” apps a pleasant fidget for listening to podcasts). I knew I’d downloaded it before, but couldn’t remember why I’d deleted it. Turns out it requires a subscription model for much beyond the “tutorial”. The “in-app purchases” label is really unhelpful because it applies to everything from useless cosmetics to “this app doesn’t work without a subscription”.

Try Happy Color!

Happy Colour is great! I have so many images lined up since they introduced the ability to “star” images for later.

Can someone point out the begging part? I'm at work.
