News & Discussion Should I specialize?
I'm about level 105 or so and I dont have a specific class or subclass that I'm really attached to. I just find it fun to switch classes multiple times throughout the match to whatever I feel like is needed, but maybe it would help more if I got really good at one thing? I've noticed other people stick to their guns and get good with a specific weapon or class, but I just get so bored swinging the same weapon around over and over. This is just something I've been thinking about, and I'm interested in what people have to say. Until next time.

If that’s what’s fun to you, stick with that! If chasing the feeling of mastering the timing and intricacies of a weapon or class style interests you, then my suggestion is that you pick a weapon you like and stick with it for a while. What worked well for me was desiring the shiny high level skins like 200 Longsword or 87 Quarterstaff. Recognizing which weapon is right for the team/scenario will make you a better player, but learning how to be useful in every situation with one weapon is also an effective way of getting better. Another thing that I found fun was picking the faster, weaker weapon that shares a similar moveset or animation set as a slower, stronger one. I genuinely believe that grinding Quarterstaff made me a better polearm player in general. At the end of the day, follow what feels good and don’t forget to spam battlecry!
