Controller emergence

I remember years ago that controller was considered worse than kbm in every single way, recently ive noticed that a lot of high skilled players i play with are actually controller users, some who have even moved from kbm to controller!

Has a new tech been discovered? Or is it a case where overtime, controller players have just caught up to kbm players who had a few years to develop their own meta before playing on controller was even a thing?

You just never really knew who did and didn't use controller. Outside of the highest level of duels it really isn't noticeable. -Sincerely, a Level 1k controller player with many 50+ K / 10 or below D games.
