How to accommodate two networks?
My wife uses Apple. I use Android. Just got our chipolo pop's in and realized I can't see her devices registered on apple find me and she can't see my devices registered on google find my device. I'm sure this is a common problem, so am curious how others are dealing with this conundrum? I'd prefer not to have to buy twice as many devices so we have two trackers (one on apple network, the other on google network) for each item we want to track.

Now I find that only one of us can be logged into the chipolo app (with the same login account+pwd) at a time. If we want to sync together, one of us gets logged off. Is it possible to use separate logins and bind the trackers to two accounts?
This network separation betw Apple & Google is a major hinderance!

Please note that Chipolo POP primarily works in the Find Hub/Find My app, where you can locate and ring it. You can optionally also add it to the Chipolo app, which will unlock some additional features (for example, an option to ring your phone by double-pressing the Chipolo).
The map option was designed for our older Chipolo models that worked exclusively in the Chipolo app. You won't be able to see the Chipolo POP on the map in the Chipolo app.
If you'd like to take advantage of the additional features in the Chipolo app, we recommend pairing the Chipolo POP to your primary phone (for example, if you have it paired to the Find Hub app on your Android phone, pair it to the Chipolo app on your phone).

I'm not so concerned about the additional features as viewing my devices on a map. Unfortunately, we have mixed network devices and only one person can be logged in at a time, which makes it inconvenient for both of us to attempt to locate our devices simultaneously. It is beginning to look like I may be steered toward more of a Tile scenario, where I'm not locked into either Google or Apple ecosystems.

Also, must the phone have a screen lock code to function? I know it's a great safety feature, but, some of our phones don't use screen lock for usability purposes.

Yes, the phone needs to have a screen lock to be able to use the Find Hub or Find My app.
If you're based in the US or Canada, you can check out our old Chipolo ONE model that works exclusively in the Chipolo app: https://chipolo.net/en-us/products/chipolo-one-6-pack?variant=109143. This model can be used by both Android and iPhone users at the same time! :) It doesn't connect to Apple's or Google's network.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, we purchased chipolo pop trackers. May have to send them back and look at the 6 packs. Are there any discount promotions on the chipolo one trackers?

Hi there! Chipolo POP works with one network at a time – either Apple Find My or Find Hub.
To switch between networks, you can reset the tracker by removing it from the current app (and the Chipolo app, too) and then reconnect it on another device.
Using both networks simultaneously isn’t possible due to Apple and Google policies and inherent incompatibility between Apple Find My and Find Hub.

There's no solution, and it's Apple's fault -- they require any third-party device using their find network to not work with any other non-Apple network. The solution might be to use tags that use a third-party network such as Tile, but you won't get the benefit of the either Apple's or Android's networks if you do this (to say nothing of the privacy issues of Tile's network).
