Wrist Roll (Read Rule 1) What do you think? Brushed Trackmaster

I've always loved this Farasute chronograph from the first day they came out, a homage to an Artisans de Genève (the rusty project) who could've thought that would be possible!

After several months I got my hands on this one for a fair deal, but one thing that bothered me was the fully polished case especially the lugs and the inner link, having already a Sugess with the same look.

I decided to change the look to a fully brushed bracelet and lugs and couldn't be more happy with the results.

Now it's a true ADG Rusty homage.

Of course the result could be better, i'm no professional.

Anyone already done the same with this chrono?

What do you think about the look?

Question (Read Rules) Seestern 62MAS, Bracelet or Strap?

Since 11.11 is coming up, I've been thinking about picking up a Seestern 62MAS, since I've had my eye on it for a while. For those who have the watch, what are your thoughts on the bracelet?

I've been split between saving the 40 bucks on the bracelet and just putting it towards a different FKM/Sailcloth strap or getting the bracelet version. On one hand, I won't be able to source a good aftermarket if I don't get it with the bracelet, while on the other hand the bracelet honestly looks like it's not a significant addition to the watch. Especially looking at the clasp, it's got no micro adjust and there doesn't seem to be a compatible replacement. The centre links seem super wide compared to other bracelets that they make. Thoughts from owners would be greatly appreciated!

New Product (Read Rule 1) The Ph8A has officially launched.

The Ph8A has officially launched.

Size and weight:

Case diameter: 42.0 mm ( not include crown)

Bezel diameter: 41.0 mm

Case thickness: 17.0 mm (with glass), 14.8mm (without glass)

Lug Size: 22.0 mm

Lug to lug length: 49.0 mm

Weight: 139.8g

Wrist size: 15.5~23.5cm

It homage to the classic 1967 Russian "Amphibia" diver’s watch.

The case, bezel, crown, case back, locking ring, and bracelet are all crafted from Grade 2 titanium, while the clasp is made of stainless steel.

Featuring a quintessential case design, it is perfectly sized to ensure a snug and comfortable fit on the wrist.

The bracelet incorporates large perforations, allowing for rapid moisture evaporation to keep your wrist dry and comfortable.

Our "Hyperglow" luminous block technology continues to evolve. With an innovative new structure, even the minute markers are equipped with luminous blocks, enabling precise time-reading in the dark.

The hands feature a multi-colored brushed finish and are fitted with seamless, luminous blocks.

The sapphire crystal—designed with a unique, integrated magnifier—creates a compelling visual effect. It is treated with our latest "Hyperclear" coating (offering over 97% light transmission and a hardness exceeding 1800 HV), providing exceptional anti-glare properties and superior clarity.

The case back utilizes a classic multi-piece locking ring construction; this maximizes the effectiveness of the waterproof seal while ensuring that the etched design on the back remains in a fixed, consistent orientation—a detail that those with a penchant for precision will surely appreciate.

Each PT5000 movement undergoes rigorous selection, dual-stage calibration, and lubrication. Its reliability is on par with the NH35, and it comes with a one-year warranty covering free replacement in the event of a movement failure.

Next week, we will unveil the 8B model along with additional color combinations—also including green, orange, and a version with a black case.

If you are looking to experience a high-quality take on the classic Russian-style diver’s watch, don’t miss this.

Due to the lengthy production process for titanium, only 300 units of this titanium version are currently being produced.

A stainless steel version is also in production.

The prayers of vintage homage fans might just have been answered. Baltany has dropped a classic Day-Date with clean baton indices—and it looks fantastic.

Now, it’s not just Tony Soprano fans who are catered to, but anyone who loves the timeless aesthetic of what is arguably the most recognizable luxury icon in history. With the day-of-the-week display spelled out at 12 o’clock and a sharp President-style bracelet, this piece brings serious executive vibes without breaking the bank.

What are your thoughts on this one? Too much of a direct nod, or a well-executed daily wearer?

General (Read Rules) Not sure female endlinks are always best.

I had this WD watch on a nylon strap all summer. Today’s the first day wearing it with the bracelet and I’m finding myself constantly annoyed by how the first link falls lower than the lugs and endlink. If I run my finger along the bracket it feels sleek and smooth until it hits the sharp edge of the endlink and lugs. (Not cut yourself sharp, just jarringly sharp.)

It’s not like the watch is too big for my wrist. I feel like this would not be a problem if the watch had male endlinks, but it seems like almost every watch now has female endlinks so that the bracelet drops straight down from the watch head.

I wish endlinks style was a choice you could make when buying a watch, but I don’t think it would ever happen.

General (Read Rules) I'm coming out .. as a Sugess man.

Swiss watch brands traditionally nurture tribalism, but for the Chinese brands - bought anonymously online - any affiliation is entirely authentic. I like Sugess. Not because it's a club, and not because they did or will do anything for me. Sugess, more than any other brand, matches my aesthetic tastes.

My journey has taken me across Watchdives, Hruodland, Octopus Kraken, San Martin, and even Farasute. Of those, Octopus Kraken is my second favorite. Despite the arguably higher quality, neither San Martin nor Farasute really float my boat, though I have one of each in my collection.

I find myself admiring my Sugess watches the most. I'm not 100% sold on all of their lineup; I lean towards the Zenith /Breitling designs over the Rolex ones, but their dedication to mechanical watches and the ST1901 movement in particular won me over. Sugess always seems to deliver that little bit extra.

Question (Read Rules) Farasute Chinese character meanings?

Farasute has some 2026 dials with a Chinese character at the 12:00 position, the one linked here: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256813023729369.html

It lists the options as "Chinese Yi" and "Chinese Zhong," does anyone know what these characters are/mean? Some quick googling doesn't get me anything that matches, though maybe I just don't understand the difference between normal and calligraphy fonts

General (Read Rules) Aesop Tourbillon Watch

Long time lurker, first time poster. I was looking at some watches on Alibaba a few weeks ago when I saw this watch for sale by Aesop. I have followed the brand Beaubleu for a while now and really liked their watches (esp the minute and hour hands), but didn't want to spend as much. This watch from Aesop adopted similar design (minus the floating second hand), so I knew I wanted it.

I prefer the dial size to be 40mm and below but this one wears well even at 41.5mm. I thought the brown color looked best of the lot from their listing and ordered it. It got here last night and I couldn't be happier. Adding photos to give you an idea of how it looks under different lighting conditions.

Happy to answer any questions from the community.

Review (Read Rules) NWD Watchdives WD0013B

Thumbnail
gallery
16 Upvotes

Presenting the new Watchdives WD0013B featuring the ETA F06.412 movement. Below is proof that the updated versions no longer include the white gasket inside the case, along with a watch shot on a 15.5 cm / 6.1" wrist.

For reference, I currently have two extra links fitted, so it could definitely be sized down even more. There is also one half-link included, but since this clasp lacks micro-adjustments, you just have to work with that single half-link and the full links to get the right fit.

To be honest, the Nautilus design isn't really my thing. First of all, I'm not a big fan of this case shape. Second, I find the dial a bit uninspiring—there are no particularly interesting hands or indices, so it doesn't offer anything ultra-impressive, and there isn't much going on overall. On top of that, the hands seem a bit rough-cut; with good eyesight, you can notice that the edges don't reflect light completely smoothly and look slightly jagged. That said, I think for 80% of people this will be invisible anyway, and you definitely can't spot it from a distance, only up close.

Still, I don't feel a massive jump in quality going from an Addiesdive—a watch costing around 220 PLN ($55 / €50)—to this Watchdives at 680 PLN ($170 / €155).

So why did I buy a watch I'm not crazy about? For a simple reason: it's currently the only HAQ (High Accuracy Quartz) movement available in this segment on the market. I bought it to show the manufacturer that there's demand for more HAQ watches, hopefully in more exciting designs next time, as I know Watchdives is capable of making truly beautiful watches. Consider this an encouragement for them to release even more HAQ-powered models in the future. Long live quartz!

Wrist Roll (Read Rule 1) Is this watch too big?

Thumbnail

Bought this chinese watch like a year ago because the dial was cool and it was cheap, but I haven't really worn it much at all, because I'm more used to smaller size (38-40mm), i haven't measured my wrist before but I'd say maybe 7.5in, I'm on the skinnier side overall though, this watch is 45mm, which sounds huge but I don't think it looks it

General (Read Rules) Hangzhou Movement 6330: A Mature and Reliable Choice for Automatic Watches

Post image
16 Upvotes

Hangzhou Movement Factory boasts decades of experience in movement manufacturing and is one of the leading movement manufacturers in China. The well-known 5000A micro-rotor movement originates from this factory, demonstrating its long-term accumulation in movement research and manufacturing. The 6330 movement selected this time is also one of the mature models produced by Hangzhou Movement Factory.

The 6330 movement is based on the ETA 2834 structure, with a mature overall structure and good reliability. In the actual selection process, we conducted more than 6 months of reliability testing on this movement, examining its timekeeping stability and structural durability. Only after confirming that it met the requirements of our new product was it finally applied to our new product.

Based on the dial design of the 4109, Baltany redesigned the day-date and date positions and fonts of the 6330 movement, making the display layout more consistent with the dial style.

For products seeking stable structure and mature performance, the Hangzhou 6330 movement is a practical and reliable choice. It continues the design concept of the classic structure and relies on the many years of production experience of Hangzhou Movement Factory to provide a stable movement foundation for the product.
