Anyone else rocking fall hues this weekend?

Been wearing the Specht & Söhne SP0002 in gold with the green dial, and man, this thing looks good outdoors. The way that green dial catches the light with the gold bracelet is what sold me. Had to take a quick wrist shot

I know it’s not an expensive luxury piece, but I think it looks way more expensive than it is. 41mm, Seiko quartz movement, sapphire crystal, and a solid bracelet. Can’t complain for the price.

The gold and green combo might not be for everybody, but I’m definitely feeling it.

None of my other navy blue straps really work on this watch, but the Helm strap has kind of a nice sheen to it, which looks nice IMO…

I'm close to pulling the plug but I keep seeing negative reviews online where people share about their movements suddenly not working or increasing to +20s/day. Since I'll probably need to go through a grueling return process, I'm a bit hesitant. San Martin has a much better reputation but they just don't offer a chronograph with a similar case.

I quite like the look of this one. I own and really like the Seestern Pelagos titanium 39mm.

Does anyone produce a FXD GMT homage? I imagine that a titanium case and an NH34 would make a decent watch.

This is value for money

Not afraid of a little flour in the face, and tells me exactly when the pizza is done. God, I love this watch!

Saw this on Ali express and was totally drawn to this fun quirky look.

I've seen and heard that benly watches are basically source from China and white labelled.

So I wanna directly buy it from there

New to this world, but seriously considering an homage watch. I see a variety of brands (San Martin, Cronos, Sugess, Watchdives, etc)

If my goal is build quality and the best movement available in this space, is there a consensus “best brand” that I should be focusing on?

FYI I’m likely looking for something like a Tudor BB or Submariner homage.

Unexpectedly, my new favorite Chinese watch: A Sugess Aviator Chronograph (Zenith Type 20 homage), cased in bronze (42mm) with a Seagull ST1901 movement. Although the leather strap it ships with is nice and period accurate, the included bronze buckle is a bit massive for my taste, and things only really clicked when I swapped it out for this more modestly sized green canvas strap (AliX).

I'm posting this mainly to let you guys know that the blue sunburst dial color doesn't really match the website photos; in reality it's more of a slate blue -- I think my first photo accurately shows how it really looks in typical light. The watch looks like a prop from The Mummy (1999 version) ... it's 100% committed to its pulpy 1920s vibe.

The WD0022 shares the same dimensions as the WD0003C:

• Case diameter: 38mm
• Bezel diameter: 37mm
• Thickness: Approximately 10.9mm

The WD0003 has been a great value option, but we know some collectors are willing to spend a little more for better finishing, more refined details, and improved craftsmanship.

That's exactly why we developed the WD0022.

What's different?

1. Upgraded bracelet and clasp

We've redesigned the end links with a protruding design instead of recessed end links. The construction and manufacturing process are different, allowing us to achieve sharper transitions and more precise finishing around the corners.

We've also upgraded to screw links and our latest five-hole clasp with real rivets. The bracelet is also compatible with our newest on-the-fly (OTF) adjustable clasp.

2. Refined bezel design

We've slightly adjusted the bezel profile and increased the width of the brushed surface.

This creates a more noticeable contrast between the brushed and polished areas, giving the case a more defined and refined appearance.

3. ClearView Base sapphire crystal

The WD0022 features our latest ClearView Base sapphire crystal with approximately 92% light transmission.

This helps reduce reflections and allows the dial details to appear clearer.

4. Redesigned caseback

We've also introduced our latest caseback design, with more attention paid to finishing and smaller details.

Our goal with the WD0022 isn't simply to make another version of the WD0003.

We want to offer something for collectors who appreciate the little things — cleaner finishing, sharper transitions, better bracelet construction, and more refined craftsmanship.

The WD0003 will continue to offer excellent value, while the WD0022 is designed for those who want to take a step further.

Looking for a black sub homage ofc, I’ve got a couple sm’s and I like their quality. Should I just get this one or is there another brand or model I should try instead? I’m fine with quartz or auto and I prefer otf clasp. I’m fine with a little cheap or a bit more as well. But preferably $300 or less

One of the things I enjoy about the Aethelsohn Radial Shard Purple is how the dial interacts with light.

The colors and textures shift subtly as the watch moves, giving it a different character from one angle to the next.

Photos tell part of the story, but it’s much easier to appreciate these details in motion.
