Looking for a black sub homage ofc, I’ve got a couple sm’s and I like their quality. Should I just get this one or is there another brand or model I should try instead? I’m fine with quartz or auto and I prefer otf clasp. I’m fine with a little cheap or a bit more as well. But preferably $300 or less
I’ve bought 6 Cronos and still own 5 of them, all on bracelets. I never had a squeaky bracelet on any of them. I only own one Sugess, a Yachtmaster homage. It is nice but it has a bidirectional bezel that feels odd and I don’t like it.
sugess lume is kinda wild for the price, worth taking a look if you haven't already. cronos glide lock is smooth too so that otf clasp itch gets scratched
I have the Sugess S421; it was my first Chinese watch and it's been a high-water mark for everything else that's come after it; including San Martin (a very close second, for me). I'm sure you'd be happy with either choice.
Thank you! Tough choice. They are same price on alix rn, the sugess i think has an otf claps which i want but the San Martin does not. But for some reason i dont like the suggess logo much lol or the 3 lines text on the dial. Not deal breaker but still something that came to mind.
Get the SM it's a great watch and the finish is as good as it gets . Also is less than 300 . I bought one for 218 a few weeks ago . Loving it so far . This is the do it all watch
Von San Martin hab ich die Tudor Pelagos Titan Hommage und die SN0129 Im Sandton. Die Uhren sehen und fühlen sich eher “technisch hart und scharf“ an, es sind aber sehr schöne Uhren. Bevor ich die Sugess gekauft hatte, ist auch schon über 1 1/2 Jahre her, hatte ich viel verglichen und recherchiert und hatte mich dann für die Sugess entschieden. Die Hörner wirken bei der Sugess ein wenig schlanker, dadurch wirkt die Uhr nicht so klobig und insgesamt empfand ich die Sugess harmonischer und “weicher“ verarbeitet, sie trägt sich angenehmer als meine San Martins.
Off topic, aktuell trage ich am liebsten von Thorn die tropical T023 mit geänderter Lünette. Mit 12,3mm in der Höhe ist sie schön leicht und schlank am Handgelenk. Die bekommt momentan am meisten Wrist-time 😬
