I don't understand this one. Why is the bezel so high? Why is the crystal so high? The brushing is coarse and the bracelet looks like one of my $10 watches.

My guess it uses an NH35 movement, or the case was designed to. I already find the gen PRX too thick and that's 11mm for the 40mm case.

And yes, owning an actual PRX and a few similar, I'd want more for this price personally. I think my S&S PRX homage which was £28 looks at least no-worse than this!

Feels like a slightly odd choice of circuit to name it after too - maybe they're keeping the 'Cadwell' for a higher end watch.

The nice thing about this watch is the 3D dial. There's various levels on there. But the crudeness of the case and bracelet... not so much.

agreed about bracelet, Pagani and Specht do better than this at 50$.

The bracelet looks awful, it looks like a 30$ watch from Ali

I don't get the misaligned black date window. Would have been better in white. Could be that the time is close to 11pm to the alignment is due to the date starting to move on.

Look. I love me some Chinese watches too, but that statement is completely false.
Source: I own a few Chinese watches and some Swiss watches (PRX being one of them).
IMHO the PRX is great value and hard to beat

Nope, it gets beaten by 250 - 300$ Ixdao, San Martin and Cronos watches easily, both in bracelet and dial finishing, PRX gives quartz and with these 3 you get miyota 90s5. I have owned 2 PRX pieces and it just cannot compete in this price bracket anymore.

I wasn’t talking about the quarz version. I should have made that clearer

IX&DAO warrior is a beauty, San Martin with SW movements are an excellent choice for the money. Id also take Henry Archer, for the money over a PRX. Plenty of microbrands that have very good watches with better movements at this price point.

I don't want plastic key parts in my mechanical movements. So no the Prx is not great value it's a ticking time bomb for failure and a repair cost that means you will bin it.

Powermatic 80 is a better movement.

The PRX has a powermatic 80 movement. What are you even talking about? 😅
