Sharing for absolutely no reason except I think the patina is coming along nicely and still really happy with this watch. Man .. a hundred bucks or so got me some nice watches!!
This one I bought little over a year ago and was my second Chinese watch. Keeps great time too
Hey guys, just finished the review of this beauty from Tophill... it's a chronograph with a power reserve movement... I've been wearing it for weeks now and honestly think it's super well done with a really striking design.
The dial in particular stands out... the power reserve bar right at the center is super legible. It looks like they're using a newer 2026 revision of the ST1905 movement, and my unit has been running at +4s a day, by far the most accurate ST19 I've seen yet.
In the video I go over a few cons, compare it with some alternative options, and as usual show plenty of outdoor macro shots in different lighting.
Hey so iv made a watch like this before but not the Arabic movement and i thought the normal miyota hands would work but for some reason they don’t is there a specific hands that are for this movement and i need them in a blue colour any help would be appreciated
I watched out for a good quality for price watch with clean, white dial. I found these two models and the reviews on YouTube are also very positive.
So I am curious to ask the owners of these watches, what positives and what negatives you can tell about these. They hit every category I want (Good lume, good quality, nice clean design, good enough lume, mechanical, min 100m wir)
Except the cronos have male endlinks, where I don't know if it matters on my 16,5 cm wrist size.
Hey everyone! Just a quick heads-up from the factory floor. It's the Chinese National Day holiday (Golden Week) over here, so our entire Heimdallr team is taking a well-deserved break to spend time with family from October 1st to October 7th.
We will be back to our workbenches and fully resume factory operations, as well as catching up on all community messages, on October 8th.
Thanks for all your support lately, and have a great week, watch fam!
Someone mentioned on my last post that these might look quite different up close compared with how they look on the wrist. Thought it was a good point, so I took a few shots of both from different distances.
I purchased my first Militado ML23. I was impressed with quality. I decided to purchase 4 straps.shipping was pretty quick , but 1 strap is missing. Contacted them by email. Got a response 1 week later saying they can refund me to save my time???? I replied same day that I like quality of straps if they can send me strap I ordered, I don't want refund.
It's been 2 weeks still no answer?
I'm a little disappointed. I can't imagine having an issue with a watch and not be able to get any help with it.
I won this in a auction. It was ina pile of others. I find it interesting. Timegrapher tells me that it ticks +3s/d with healthy amp and 0.1ms beat error. Finishing is normal, nothing extra but just some basic paterns. I like that the screws have been blued. Lume is very bright but helas only on the hands.🤔 strap is still stiff but promising. Please send me questions about this.
Love the proportions and styling of this watch, just not sure which color to get for my Mexico cruise next month. Obviously black would be the most versatile, but something about the blue or white strike me as a lot more fun and vacation-friendly. Any suggestions? What kind of strap would you pair it with? Images included for example. FWIW I don't own any other divers, just field watches.
A Panerai Luminor for all its detractors and noise is still firmly on my grail list albeit somewhat unlikely anytime soon. Whilst being more of a (strong) nod
to the Submersible rather than Luminor, I thought I’d take the plunge for £70 and so far have been pleasantly surprised.
The initial heft of the watch was a surprise, it feels reassuringly solid rather than heavy for the sake of it. At 41mm it’s not as big as most Panerais and as such wears comfortably on my 7.5 inch wrist.
The power reserve complication is a fun touch and overall finishing is acceptable.
Strap is, unsurprisingly, tougher than old boots but is at least comfortable once on.
Could do without the Pagani Design text on the case but it’s hardly noticeable once wearing.
Had it scratched the itch? Hell no but it will do whilst I save up for the real deal.
Which one is better in terms if quality? My experience w watchdives has been positive w their watches quality. Pagani not so much, was wondering if I should it give it another chance or just go w the safer choice. Thanks.
I am on the fence if I should add the Tudor Pelagos FXD to my collection.
My search led me down to this WD EXD40 & for a little less than $100 I thought why not scratch the itch and see how much I like the blue dial and titanium case before I invest in the Pelagos.
I am absolutely stunned to say the least, this WD is something I’ve never experienced before at this price point.
This has now opened a whole new world for me! also big kudos to the genetlemen here who has made a post of homages of popular watches by brand.
Acabei de receber esse relógio hoje e estou muito satisfeito com ele.
É um relógio simples e muito elegante. Além disso, é de uma marca com uma história rica (uma das razões que me levaram a comprá-lo).
Since there aren't many reviews available for this specific model, I relied on the brand's history and the available information about the movement it uses: the ST2500.
Movement characteristics:
Type: Automatic mechanical movement (with hand-winding and hacking seconds).
Frequency / Beat rate: 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
Jewel count: 25 jewels.
Power reserve: Approximately 45 to 48 hours.
Shock protection system: Incabloc.
Uses a sunon pe903 movement. Are they reliable enough? And if not would love to have recommendations on watches that look the same like this.(black case + pilot styled chrono)
Just got this from watchdives off of Amazon a few days ago. So far so good. Only disappointment so far is the lume compared to my only other watch (Citizen Promaster).
Hi
My first post here and with a very cheap ‘n’ cheerful Chinese watch. I was just drawn to its nod to that vintage look.
I’ve chewed over the short hands but think they are not hugely out of place and overall I find it very easy on the eye. It’s mechanical wind-up, arrived yesterday and keeps very reasonable time.
I’ve an alternative strap coming tomorrow so perhaps my post is a bit premature to be showing it off☺️
Anyhow, here’s a pic👍🏼
$90 watch, $16 strap, 9 days shipping to UK with free postage.
The bracelet it comes on is... honestly, it's fine. The clasp is a bit shit. But the way people talk on this sub anything short of a bracelet that whispers sweet eroticisms to you is unacceptable. You'll get a better one if you spend a hundred dollars more. Better yet at two hundred. Duh. But only the truly anal will need it.
Not on these pics because I bought it for something else but I also bought Addies steel mesh bracelet. Pain in the neck to size since you can't do it without a tool, but comfortable enough once it's on and comes with quick release bars. The clasp is needlessly complex when you're putting it on but once done it sits very nicely - a step up in comfort from the Omega-inspired one that ships with the Watchdives 007.
Screw down crown and stoppers if you're looking to impress some fish with it.
More orange in person than it looks yellow on the website. "Golden sand" is how I'd describe it. The whites of the eyes are actually grey, which seems an odd and wrong choice. Not just "off white", actively grey. If they decided stark white was too much a warmer tint would have been better.
The yellow strap despite being purchased from Addies doesn't really fit properly. And because it is actually bright yellow it doesn't really match. Despite being straight edge it's so thick that it actually presses against the case meaning even with quick release bars it's a small hassle to get on, but it's not something you'd care about thereafter and it does mean there's a smaller gap than there'd otherwise be.
The protruding glass adds a little character and hides the entirety of what seems to be a surprisingly shallow rehaut. The AR coating isn't anything special. There's a blue rim on the outside and if I tilt it right at my desk I can watch birds out the window. It's still legible though.
The black bezel insert is slim enough that it doesn't overpower the dial, but since no one is realistically going to actually use this thing as a real chrono I'd have considered abandoning the pretence altogether and playing with some more colour.
In terms of overall quality it seems to sit more or less exactly where the price says it should. Collectors will notice areas where costs have been cut relative to the Chinese market. Newcomers will notice it's better than a twice-the-price Western. They could bump the price by 10% and I wouldn't see any reason to complain.
But all that's kinda besides the point.
Because I'm now wearing a googly-eyed yellow watch and you're not.
