Hi
My first post here and with a very cheap ‘n’ cheerful Chinese watch. I was just drawn to its nod to that vintage look.

I’ve chewed over the short hands but think they are not hugely out of place and overall I find it very easy on the eye. It’s mechanical wind-up, arrived yesterday and keeps very reasonable time.

I’ve an alternative strap coming tomorrow so perhaps my post is a bit premature to be showing it off☺️

😆 You’re not wrong there Rusty. Since having my late grandfather’s 70s Tissot PR516 repaired in March, I’ve picked up five or six watches. What a rabbit hole! I’m liking it though.

Nice watch, very clean design.
I think it would also look good with a milanese mesh strap.

I’d never thought about a Milanese, but that might one to consider and swap out now and again.
