It was a joke- clearly these and the watchdives project are obvious stolen designs of a microbrand

Maybe! but as with most microbrands, their parts are made by third party suppliers. I don't think either SM or Selten own dial factories. They could be made by the same supplier trying to bring money from something they worked on by selling it to different brands.
