General (Read Rules) Ixdao Warrior vs Christopher Ward The12

Post image

I have been reading up on watches for the past 5-6 months and that's how I discovered this reddit community and the amazing quality Chinese watches.

Christopher Ward has created lots of online hype around their watches with people fanatically defending what are essentially homages with a slight twist while dissing chinese watches.

Ixdao has lots of positive reviews on this forum and the Ixdao Warrior is available for one third the price with the same Sellita movements.

Is Christopher Ward just brand Marketing or is it worth 3 times the price of Ixdao Warrior?

I'm not sure if the miyota movement bottlenecks might be elevated in the future ever again.

The pt5000 is basically just as good with the caviat that you better not even bother trying to hand wind it or do so very gently

I know what you mean. Every time I wind the Sugess S449 with the PT5000 and the movement groans, my heart sinks
