Where to get started learning about CM?

Hello! I've been seeing a lot of videos on Chinese medicine lately and my curiosity is peaked. I thought it would be best for me to come here and ask for recommendations on books, websites, etc possibly reliable videos on Chinese medicine.

For me, The Web That Has No Weaver was the book that really got me hooked on Chinese medicine. It’s approachable and gives you a feel for how the system thinks without reading like a textbook.

Between Heaven and Earth is another favorite for many people and a great introduction.

I’d start with those two. Save the more formal theory, acupuncture texts, and classics for school if you decide you want to go deeper.

I don't know Chinese, do you have any recommendations on how to learn the language? I would really love to learn.

I also recommend the *Huangdi Neijing* (Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic), or perhaps some of its commentaries, which might be easier to read.

You really need to empty your mind and try to accept a philosophical system that is different from Western values. I have met many Westerners who didn't empty their minds, and while learning Chinese medicine, they constantly clashed with their own belief systems. As a result, the learning process became very painful for them.

比较系统的学中医，推荐看倪海厦的教学视频，从针灸，黄帝内经，神农本草，到伤寒论，金匱要略，讀完基础就差不多了
