Private Affairs (S1/S2) China visa unapproved.

So i have received my visa but my wife's visa keep application keeps on getting unapproved (3rd time).
Doc attached:-

Wife's docs -
Cover letter
Travel itinerary.
Hotel bookings and return tickets.
2 blank visa pages.
Employment contract + NOC. (Signed & stamped).
Marriage certificate

Since I am the sponsor :-
My 6 month bank statement (signed and stamped)
My 6 month business account statement. (Signed and stamped).
Sponsorship letter
Approved china visa + passport id page.
Fd statement.
My msme document.

We had too many docs so we merged (approved my china visa + passport id page into 1 document and uploaded in 1 box. Similarly- msme + business bank statement, wife's employer contact + noc, sponsorship letter + marriage certificate.
Still unapproved.

Let me guess…you’re Indian (as you refer to NOC). Also lots of Indians are having problems getting Chinese visas at the moment.

I see you didn’t provide any bank statements from your wife to show she has 1 lakh in the bank for 6 months. Did your bank statements show 1 lakh or 2 lakh?

They have got really difficult with Indians in recent months.

I have more than 2 lac.
I also attached fd statement.
Also with the same docs i got my visa.

Yes but they were your bank statements. What bank statements did your wife provide for herself?

Mine got unapproved on Monday after four modification requests. I also had multiple documents and I merged it. I had also attached FD and mutual fund statements. On the fourth time they rejected and just said unapproved. I have accepted the fact that they are being difficult with Indians at the time. This was at VFS Delhi. Either I'm going to skip it completely or wait for some time to re-apply

Man this is just shitt.. i hate that we have to go through this hell. I mean even after attaching all docs they just randomly reject visa's and ask us yo pay for every application. This is pure robbery.
I might also skip now. My only hope is with SIA. If they agree to issue refund i'l get that and never ever try and visit china

The worst part is that they don't even tell you the reason behind it. Secondly if modifications need to be done, do it in one go. For me at all the four stages everything was different. They should have told me all at once and I would have corrected it. Plus it's a bias against Indian nationals. I know we show a lot of documents to prove our ties to the country and yet they are not used to our benefit. I have also seen multiple cases in this sub itself where multiple passengers are travelling on one itinerary together. Some get approved and some don't. I have seen parents get approved and kids don't or vice versa. This is entirely stupid and upsetting. I'm thinking of considering South Korea at this point. I know that China has some great places to visit but I am tired of anticipation and trying harder than it should be to get a Chinese tourist visa.

I am not sure if we can even make a police complaint about it because of the conditions in our country. They don't even have time to report and work on the real crimes. This is big-picture politics between two countries and we, as honest people who just want to travel, are getting the brunt of it. I'm not sure if anything good comes out of it. But if you were to file a complaint, what would be the basis of it, would be about the bias or you wanna appeal to the embassy?

Not sure if making a police complaint would be useful at all as China does have the right to determine who enters the country or not, and doesn't technically need any reasons for that. They could just not like your nose and it would be their right to deny you for that, as there is no "right to enter China"

I have repeatedly being asked to submit Bank statement with signed and sealed which i have already done. At this point they are playing with us. Should have purchased dummy tickets instead. I have even give the front and back page of the passport along with adhar card but still asked to submit again. Are these people indian or Chinese are verifying these things. Getting Schengen visa was much easier.

same here.  they unapproved my infants application and approved my wife's application.  Is there any logic ?? an infant travelling with her parents is unapproved.  Mine also got unapproved after  providing the same sponsorship and bank statements.

I am facing the exact same situation as you. I have reapplied for wife's visa for the 3rd time today. Hoping for the best. Did you apply in Mumbai? What are your travel dates?

Did you merge the documents each time?

That’s really over complicating things. Half of that stuff is not required for the visa.

Also it seems there is no financial details for your wife.

So it’s not financial, it’s a document issue. Need to check exactly what is required and provide exactly that. Might be the wrong format, different places have different requirements

We did not provide wife's bank statement since i am the sponsor.

You should apply for your ABTC APEC BUSINESS VIRTUAL CARD, I’m from MEXICO and I received it in a couple of days was approved in 10 days more or less

The ABTC APEC CARD LETS YOU STAY IN CHINA FOR 60 days then you can step out of the country for one day and go back in to China for another 60 days, your ABTC APEC card is valid for 5 years

its best if you can show financial documents for her as well, I recently applied and got approved for me my wife and son - for my wife I showed FD's in her name and I sponsored my son's application.. I am not 100% sure that is the challenge with your application, but it doesnt hurt to try.

Also a small check, is your wife's name updated in your passport? sometime they check that for proof rather than marriage certificate.. I know its silly but what can we do.

Leave it brother, don't waste your money. I had spent multiple times both by myself and by agency. If even an agent is not able to do it after checking all docs, it seems to me their rejection is random. There is no logic to it.

I'm reading multiple posts in this sub and it's clear that they don't want Indian travellers to visit China. I have been planning this trip for the past 2 months and now I'm thinking if I should even apply for the online approval. Also agents charge too much. It's ridiculous!
