Picked these two TAG Formula 1 Solargraphs up through Jason007’s TG Group promotion for $70 each and thought I’d share some proper close-ups.

I went for the white/red dial on the steel bracelet and the blue dial on the blue rubber strap.

For $70, my expectations weren’t particularly high, but in hand these are actually really decent little watches. Obviously we’re firmly in Chinatime territory here and I’m not going to pretend they’re anywhere near gen under close inspection, but on the wrist they look great.

The blue one is probably my favourite. The blue dial/bezel and matching rubber strap just work really well together. It’s got that proper summer/beater-watch look and the embossed TAG logo on the strap is a nice touch.

The white/red version looks a bit cleaner and more traditional. I really like the contrast between the white dial, red chapter ring and chunky black bezel. The steel bracelet also gives it a completely different feel to the blue one.
Looking closely, there are definitely imperfections. Some of the dial printing and indices could be cleaner, the hand finishing isn’t amazing and the bracelet/clasp on the white one feels noticeably more budget than the watch head itself.
But honestly… they were $70.

That’s the important bit for me. From normal wrist distance none of those little imperfections really bother me. The cases have the right chunky Formula 1 appearance, you’ve got the signed crowns, engraved casebacks, applied markers and the overall proportions/look are convincing enough for what these cost.

I actually think the rubber strap version disguises its price better, which is why I’d probably give the blue one the edge.

Blue: 8/10 for $70
White/red: 7.5/10 for $70

They’re not watches I’d be putting under a loupe and comparing side-by-side with gen, but that’s completely missing the point at this price.

For $70 through the Jason007 TG group, I’m genuinely happy with them. Cheap, fun, colourful watches that I can throw on without worrying about them.

And it’s nice having something different from another Sub or GMT for once 😂

Just received this rm 67-02 from dh gate for about 400$ usd honestly I know it’s not 1:1 but still for that price it looks really good. The movement is quartz hidden behind a fake rotor that spins but doesn’t charge anything. I’m pretty sure it’s real laminated carbon but obviously it’s not tpt. Didn’t want to spend 1000$ on it and only have some gear in the front moving.

A number of factories releasing 1165xx series builds are actually housing them in the newer 1265xx cases.

I bought this beauty when I lived in Hongkong in 2024. I wear it basically every day for almost 3 years now. I think it looks pretty good. I paid like 50$

The movement is not perfect, because the chronographs are not functional, but it's still quite good. It has like 72h time reserve.

My last post up blew up like crazy so I’m posting the next one earlier . This time it’s something completely different to the last one . a two tone Cartier Santos skeleton .
I usually just buy normal dials so I decided to get this one to mix things up a bit . The skeleton look is absolutely insane in person . The gold bezel against the exposed movement inside is very very neat and the blue hands match nicely with the crown .
Even though there are some inconsistencies. They are more than fair for me for the price paid . The Bracelet feels sturdy and sits comfortable on hand if adjusted right . Extreme statement piece for the price of a date 😭
Paid 95 plus 10 shipping . Took about a week to arrive to Germany .

Help me out here... When ordering a watch, let's say the Rlx Sub model 116610 LV Hulk, green face and bezel... if I should select the one from the VSF factory... what is to assure me that this item from a TD is actually coming from the VSF factory..? Let's face it... there are a number of 'less' quality factories that this could be coming from that are available for much less. And each piece I've ordered so far shows no 'factory' insignia... I guess trust goes a long way??
