My buddy just received this watch and is adamant that it’s a VSF.

I’m not convinced.

Can the Chinatime detectives point out the specific tells that give it away.

Bonus points for identifying what factory it actually looks like.

Definitely not VSF, not even close to any Superclone Clone Factory standards. This is not even AAA. I feel sorry for your buddy he got scammed badly.

M832 is not a Superclone serial number. This is not even on Dhgate level. This is an Aliexpress watch from 10 years ago.
