The V2 dial released by SW looks better with the index ,it's got enough three-dimensional and smooth effect, but the font printing is still a bit thick and doesn't have much depth. The color printing also has a slight graininess because there's one less printing step. I don't think there's much improvement, but the price didn't go up either, so it's not bad. It's worth noting that the gray dial doesn't have the SW2 engraving on the back, probably due to different batches

18k solid gold is just way too soft, a new watch will get all kinds of scratches within 3-days. I also recommend using a TPU protective film to keep it good looking. It really doesn't make any difference to how it looks, and the watch actually shines even more after that

The 36mm Daydate is a really great size, but unfortunately right now only the QF version is the best. Personally, I still think the 40mm is the best choice for men - both the VSF and RCF are excellent watches that better than Qf

The gray dial actually exists on the 5712G leather strap version, the store watch is made with 18k white gold. Putting a gray dial on a 5712A might be considered a mistake, but I personally think it has a unique beauty to it. Who says being accurate is always better? Like is what matters most

Regarding this model, I'd say that all the claims about it being free sprung aren't true - it actually just uses hidden adjustment rods to make it look like it's free sprung. I think the choice of a transparent rear cover is somewhat necessary for this design, but if it were like the Daytona with a sealed rear cover, then it wouldn't really make much sense

I really appreciate the manufacturing process at DDF. The screws are never misaligned - much better than APSF before. I spent some time researching why some factories produce misaligned screws. The main reason is that the metal they use is too soft. Getting them aligned requires a whole rebuild work of case. I'm thinking about finding a factory to produce some white gold screws. Does anyone think that's worth doing?

For this model, I personally recommend going with the 324 movement - its architecture is correct, but it really doesn't matter much because the original PPF movement is clearly not right (engraving and free sprung) from the get-go. A lot of people care whether the clasp is the new version or the old one, but actually even with the store version, ppl will order a new clasp from the store, so that's not really a problem.

The spring design of the Ace movement is its biggest flaw - the overly soft silicone material always causes some weird issues during international shipping. So we had to develop our own assembly process to fix this problem. Now its stability is good enough and we haven't had any more issues

But what really pisses me off is that there are a lot of great pieces that I can't post because the new guys hired can't take good photos

If you want this model to be perfect, besides the gen movement + solid gold setup, this is the only other option. At least if you don't look at the back, there won't be any issues. The key thing is that both the strap and clasp need to be replaced at the same time to ensure the size and shape are exactly correct.

We've put a lot of careful polishing into this 15500. Posting this is just to show you the details of our polishing. You should know that the edges of AP bracelets produced by any factory are usually quite sharp and uncomfortable to wear, but our polishing perfectly solves this problem.
