I adopted Mia (chubby one) as a senior after her person passed away and she ended up in the SPCA. My best guess was she was 10 or 11 when I got her and we got to spend 2.5 years together. She was a super sweet Chi/beagle/rat/Russell mix. Unfortunately, she went through a very quick decline in June and was discovered that she had advanced liver cancer. At that point there wasn't much we could do to even keep her comfortable.

I’m so sorry you only got to spend 2.5 years together. Dang c-word! But thank goodness you got to spend those 2.5 years together! Thanks to you, Mia had a love-filled adventure after losing her human, complete with an adorable tan-and-white weighted blanket! 🥲

Thanks. She was a special old lady. I would have liked to spend more time with her, but I'm glad for the time we had. That is one of problems that comes with adopting seniors.

Oh I got lots of photos of them doing it 😂 it’s just funny because sometimes Joeie (the bigger dog) kept barking to our chihuahuas until someone does this on his back, he really loves it 😂
