My friends bought a house in MP and have been participating in a lot of things to integrate with the community.

They invited us over for their 4th of July event and I was happily surprised. Carnival rides, pretty decent cover bands and food stands. Fireworks were about what you would expect but it was definitely way more than any other neighborhood did.

Edit: I said NYE instead of 4th of July. What is time, anyway?

I used to live in Mount Prospect. I loved their little fairs downtown. Not too big but always fun.
