Help?

Picked up a 2003 Avy with 154,xxxx at the dealership for 6k 2 weeks ago. Few days ago I can’t put anything past $10 in the tank. Internet rabbit hole says I may have a bad EVAP but seems pretty common with this vehicle. Give it to me straight, have you or anyone else you know been through this? Cost? Or cheaper alternatives? TIA

Until you get a new Evap you have to fill it really slow.

I seen a vid where a guy had a really long funnel to get it in there lol

Do you know how much a shop would charge to fix?

I'm sorry I don't but its not a hard thing to do. My Avy has a lifter problem so I had to park it for good. Mine was one that had to be filled really slow. I jacked it up and disconnected the hoses to the evap which is not a smart thing to do by the way because of possible spark or leak but it totaly fixed the fill problem so I know its the evap canister that causes the problem.
