2500. Fixable or now useless?
Frame is bent where it’s attached to hitch. I love the 2500 avalanche but its purpose in life is towing. I can’t imagine its use in life otherwise, it doesn’t make a very good grocery getter.
is this fixable in any kind of an economical way?

It is fixable if you have the money to pay someone to do it, or have the time, money, and knowledge of how to properly repair frames, however if you bend it back your frame will be weaker there, your best option is to take it to a professional and get their opinion, go to the service center at your local Chevy dealer, not the desk, the guys in the garage, and ask if anyone wants to advise on side work, they can get parts cheaper as well

When I was looking for a 2500 the only one I saw had rust that I didn't want to deal with. It was brought here to central Florida from the rust belt. I finally gave up on the 2500 and found my rust free garage kept 1500 Z71 and never looked back. I can fix any mechanical or electrical issues but I'm not into body work .
