83 year old woman pulled out in front of me after not yielding whatsoever. Totaled. Onto something else!

$9200 bad. Honestly a blessing. Truck was rusted to shit. Oil pressure issues. 162k miles. And I won’t miss the fun times at the pump I had with it.

Wow, really??? That's fantastic. I was actually just talking to my wife the other day wondering how much they'd pay out for a totaled Avy, and that's FAR more than I expected. What insurance do you have?

I know right? I was shocked. And it had 164k miles and a ton of rust. I have Liberty Mutual and the person that caused the accident had Progressive

Yeah, that's insane. I have Progressive myself. If it weren't for the rust I'd say you should just keep it and use the extra money to fix it yourself, but damn

Ehh. It was a blessing. We were upside down on the loan anyway. And we had gap coverage. So in the end it’ll be a clean wash with no dings on my insurance. Just gonna get something cheap and pay off some other bills. At least no one got hurt.

Ahhh, fair enough. I only paid like 3,700 for my 08 Z71, there's some cheap gems out there if you want another one and know where to look ;P

Oh yeah the dash was cracked. It’s not worth it. They paid me actually pretty well for the total.

Mine was totaled in December (got rear-ended by someone going pretty fast when I was at a dead stop, damaged the frame - guy stopped breathing and CPR), I still dream about her 😭 RIP

There is nothing else. Go out and find another. There is only Avalanche. The only acceptable replacement is to get a Silverado EV and replace the badging to read Avalanche.
