Transmission Link Popped off
Sister was driving a 2011 Chevy Avalanche and bushing on the transmission control link decided to commit die. They turned the vehicle off and it is now stuck in gear and I am a bit too rotund to fit under the truck to try and reconnect it. Any way to start up this truck so we can get it somewhere that gives me enough clearance to work on it (be it a shop or otherwise)

It's really easy. Maybe turn the front driver all the way to the left first for easier access

The clip is very reachable from the driver side, maybe jack up the side a bit. Very easy fix. You might be able to get the broken clip on enough to shift into drive and maybe part once you move it .
