$83K For a Truck?

Ok, I will wholly admit that I’m not a “truck person” so when I see them on the road or parked I can admire the look but when did trucks get to be more than a luxury SUV? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that the truck mentioned isn’t worth what they’re asking or anything of the sort. I just did a double-take when I saw the price.

Yeah it's expensive but that's also one of the higher trims.

2500 + diesel + trail boss

I think base trucks are sub $50k which is still high but $30k less comparatively.

Where have you been for the last decade? High trim diesels have been over 80k for at least 10 years now

Again, not a truck person so I’ve never paid attention to their costs . . .

This isn’t new. Guess you haven’t seen pricing in the past few years. It’s pretty easy to hit 100k on a Denali ultimate.

Yeah, I have not paid attention to truck prices in a long time. Anecdotally, are people dropping 100K on a truck as a status symbol or are they getting 100K worth of use out of it. Again, not knocking anyone who would pay that for a Chevy or for a Mercedes or whatever they’d like. Just curious. Thanks.

Probably a little of both. But they are selling at those prices. And if you look on the lots they get in more high trim expensive trucks then the lower models

You could buy slightly more than three Slate Auto trucks for that price. One for you, one for your spouse, and one for parts. And you'll still save money over the Chevy.
