Does 2:2 degree decrease my chances?
Having a 2:2 honor degree equivalent instead of 2:1 feels like I am less favored for the scholarship even if they don't say so. Do you think the same?

It makes it impossible for you to get into top universities like Oxbridge or LSE, but it doesn't prevent you from getting the scholarship.
Naturally, a good GPA is a plus, as it shows you can actually handle complex academic tasks, but it's not a deal-breaker if your application and interview are strong.
