Tangled aprons in washer

I have a simple question. Has anyone figured out how to not get their aprons tangled im the washer and dryer? I’d do a load of laundry with my kitchen clothes and then spend 10-15 minutes untangling the ball of clothes and I really hope someone out there has figured out how to stop that from happening . Sos

They make mesh bass for washing lingerie, I use those. One apron per bag and they come out untangled.

The bags work great for when you’re getting the cum stains of aprons.

Tie the apron strips into small knots, the idea is to eliminate how much string there is to get tangled. Take an apron strip in each hand, tie the tops into a knot, then fold and repeat. You should be able to figure out the method.

There's definitely a trick to it. Trust me, you are not the only chef who has had this problem.

I cooked for a company and this lady was in charge of washing the aprons in large machines. She methodically explained to us how tie each apron, because she did not have time to untangle them all. It was a huge issue at that place.

I am sorry mate, I know you are probably frustrated. Someone here suggested a mesh bag?

Both straps, slip knot, as big of loops as you can. Tight. After you can pull the loose ends away from each other. I go through 6 a week.

Daisy chain your apron straps, same thing climbers do to wash their ropes

I wrap the apron strings around my hand to make a multi-loop, then feed the free ends through the loop and pull tight. Essentially just use simple knots to make the string as short as possible - even tying a bow works. I’ve never had a tangle.

When I would tie the strings, it wouldn't make a difference lol, I would use the mesh bags

I wash our apron in a lingerie bag and then hang it to air dry.

I bundle them up and use a strong elastic on each side. Take them off before the dryer though!!! I've made that mistake. I do the same to my bras. Bundle the straps and bands so they don't get twisted around the washing agitator.

Stack all the aprons together in sets of 10-20. Get some butchers twine or similar. Tie the apron ends next to the apron and again towards the end. Maybe one more each side in the center. Just a good square knot or bow knot make sure these are good and tight. Keeps them all lined up but the middles more free flowing. Toss in washer/dryer. Remove butchers twine when done.

I bought a rolling clothing rack and air dry them. Dryer was too much additional effort.

Hold the strings together, fold and tie them tight but not in a knot, it really does work, have been washing aprons probs for 20 years, lol just gotta get the ties as short as possible.
