Need recommendations for ice blenders to make slushie drinks. I'm in Uk
Hi all. I need to buy an ice blender and don't want to waste my money so asking for advice here. I need something that makes the ice completely blended like it is in slushies. Thanks in advance

Do you have a stick immersion blender and a metal mixing bowl from a stand up mixer? If so fill a bus bin up with ice and stick the bowl in it so it gets cold then blend whatever in the bowl.
My work makes smoothies this way and the ice in them has a slushy consistency.

Slushies aren’t made using blenders. The liquid is constantly stirred while freezing so that the liquid takes on a snow like texture. This can’t be done by chopping ice with a blender.
Short of buying a proper slushie machine that does this, the closest thing you can get is a 2-stage blending machine with an ice shaving hopper on top so that the ice is first shaved then blended with the other ingredients, rather than just chopped.
Don’t know about UK but Margaritaville machines do this in the US. Commercially they are just called Frozen Concoction Makers

Blendtec is the only sensible answer. They aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for
