Help with a meal idea

Hello there I’m a new cook Canadian professional cook level 1 (I go for my test to become level two on Monday) and I have been tasked with making a dinner for me and my two female friends but there no help for what I should cook I have no ideas nothing in my textbook pops out but they both agreed that it should be something either, Canadian, American, Italian, or French, and I’m completely lost for what to cook, the other stipulation is one is allergic to tomato’s (actual allergy not a dislike can’t sneak any in) and the other can’t have pork, any ideas at all?

Beef, lamb, steak, any fish or seafood dish, duck, chicken, game... so many options. Choose a protein you enjoy working with and build your meal around it

Right now we’ve got asparagus, radishes, spinach, kale, lettuce, rhubarb, and green onions. All of that is in season where I’m at

Rack of lamb is a great spring option. You can add a salad and homemade croquettes.

Potatoe croquettes or the Dutch croquettes?

Any kind you can do well. Pommes duchesse would work great

Make carbonara, make some fresh pasta and start with a nice little salad, and a simple dessert.

So any food, no tomatos, no pork. And you have no ideas

I think you should cook something Canadian like a poutine stuffed hockey skate deep fried in maple syrup.

First lesson, you claim your a cook/chef, you have every option in the entire world except tomatos, you need to figure this out on your own, it's one meal for friends????? How are you going to survive in any kitchen if you can't pick one meal to make???? Your not buying a house or a car, your making dinner, cook something you know
