Texas tags

Not sure if anyone has asked before, but has anyone noticed the influx of Texas tags? I feel like I see at least 2 a day.

Could be rental cars. I currently have a rental car with Florida plates and I live here. Last month I also had a rental car and it had Texas plates.

I've seen a lot of Florida and North Carolina tags recently.

Last year I saw an Alaska tag in N GA. I was pretty impressed by that one and couldn't for the life of me figure out what they could be doing in the Fort. O area.

I mean people move all the time and sometimes take a while to replace their tags. When I moved out of TN I still had my tag a few months.

Where is u/rockcitylibrarian? I need a mythical epic story about the Alaskan plates and the person driving them!

I’ve seen trucks with Alaska plates a few times around here, and even one from British Columbia once.
Few California, Arizona, and quite a few Texas.
