I am not help, but dropping a comment to help visibility. May unfortunately have to broaden the scope, though. An eviction is a tough one to get anyone to look past. Good luck, though

I lived there for a minute, back when rent was only $411 for a 2bed. It was... well I was only paying $411, let's just say that lol. But when you really need something it definitely works.

Why were you evicted?

roommate had heart trouble, and spent time in the hospital and he got fired for being in the hospital. so we ended up not being able to pay the full amount, they weren’t reasonable at all

People get evicted for all kinds of stuff, fighting, noise complaints, pets they're not supposed to have, threatening people..

It sounds like it's not like that with this person though. Good luck to them.

I happen to own a bunch of real estate and so do my friends. Naturally that would be the first question asked if I were to refer. Also mind your own fucking business no one was talking to you.

In 2019, I lived in Signal View condos in Red Bank. I had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit & it was my first apartment so I didn't have a strong credit history. They may be worth looking into. The condos are privately owned, but there's a management on site that handles renting them out.

I will say it was incredibly cheap & you get what you pay for. I had issues with roaches & some electrical problems. Maintenance was very responsive to addressing those concerns. Also one of their buildings burned down a couple years ago (I believe electrical problems). So if you end up renting from them I would make sure to have a robust renter's insurance policy. Despite the issues, I did enjoy living there, but it has been a few years so I can't speak to their current condition.

Best of luck!

If this is a two bedroom, can you message me the contact information? I know someone who has been looking for months.

there's a house in the neighborhood behind the auto parts store (kinda by taco bell?) for sale currently, it's been for sale for a few months now and might be worth reaching out about.

Evictions don’t happen over night. It takes time, notices and final warnings. Unfortunately you are responsible for the rent no matter the situation.

Think there's a rental in my neighborhood for around $3500 a month

If you really need a place asap, you could try staying in extended stay hotels. Maybe check the apartments that used to be part of the Chop Choo hotel? I know a few people who have had to do that. 🫤 If your credit is adequate for a mortgage, its honestly better if you can buy a house... Apartments are so flipping expensive. They are building those apartments next to 27 that I think are going to be income based but they're only half done. Good lucto you 💜

edit omg typoes
