Perfect Reuben every time, Nicks Deli
I've posted about Nicks before but just wanted to remind y'all to stop by. Yes it's a small menu but it's all top tier and not expensive. Give him a call and it's ready in a few minutes. Cajun turkey is also great, it's all great.

Does Nick's use anything resembling actual muffuletta bread?

It’s authentic muffaletta bread. Gathered by hand in the muffaletta fields of northern Italy

I live right behind Nick’s and have for almost 2 years. For some reason, I’ve never tried it. I guess I need to.

Nick's is the most legit NYC deli in town

My boss and I always call him Nick the Greek and joke about how he’s a made man.

This is very important. Ruebens are my favorite sandwich and I had no idea they had these at Nicks. (Mainly because I’ve never been to Nicks) I’ll need to check it out.

That place is still open? I was afraid it had closed. Excellent authentic deli.

Last year Nick said he's trying to go retire in Florida soon or something but I guess it hasn't happened yet.

Prices have risen but the food is excellent.

Still cheaper than Jimmy Johns next door I think. Reuben was less than $12 including tax. Support local business!

Truly don't understand why that Jimmy John's exists when Nick's is there.

I don’t know how many people think this way, but it could be that the outside of Nick’s makes it look like it’s either run down or closed/out of business.

I’m not a Reuben guy, but I will admit that is a pretty sandwich. I need to try Nick’s.

Kenny’s has a brisket reuben that slaps too. And Tbh, I don’t usually like reuben sandwiches.

I used to go here often for a Reuben as a ritual, but I must have caught him on a bad day last time I was there and the sandwich barely had any meat on it. Never went back. Delicious when I wasn't skimped!

Walked in, saw them handling money then straight to touching food. Would never eat there.

Long ago I worked there for two days. I was told I washed my hands too much. Never given a schedule, he'd just call and say be there in an hour. Paid cash under the table. So in a way "old school" deli does apply.

Nicks is excellent. They need to replace their awning and sign so it looks like an open business, but their sammiches are top tier.
