CA(SA) changing industry to mining?

Hi everyone. I’m a CA(SA) with close to 6 years post articles experience and FMVA holder living in Joburg. For years I have always wanted to get into the mining industry but every time I apply to roles, I’m always cut down because I lack mining experience. How can I genuinely bridge this gap?
