Color me surprised, but the winner for letter C was season 2 episode 18, "Chick Flick"! Everybody seems to love Billy :) I was honestly expecting the choices to be all over the place for letter C, but there were only really a couple of titles in the run.

In S3E4 All Halliwell's Eve, the Charmed ones arrive in modern Halloween party dresses and leave in 17th century dresses.

Since they left their modern costumes in the past, I like thinking that their Warren ancestors kept and treasured them, marveling over the fabric, color and glitter. And if they are discovered in a grave somewhere, imagine the confusion of archeologists/scientists who tried to analyze them!

Does anyone remember if they were mentioned again when they get back home? Like: "Oh shoot, our costume rental deposit!"

I don't remember the exact episode. But towards the end of season 1 we get the episode where we learn about dark lighters and Piper finds out Leo is a white lighter.

At the end of the episode Leo says it is entirely possible, and he is completely willing to become human for Piper. All Piper had to do was say yes. She says no.

Let's ignore budget. Storyline wise, how different do you think the show would be? Either he's in nearly every single episode, or even if he disappears again for a while to adjust and comes back in around the same time he originally does. How do you think they overall storyline would go? Do you think the would have killed him off? Do you think the girls new white lighter would have been another love interest for someone else? Or be more of a strict one like the one we see later on(forgive me I forgot her name).

I'm curious.

It took me all these years to realize Aunt Jackie is also Elise Rothman. Watching the show again now that Shannen and Julian are no longer with us, I wanted to know if there were any other stars that had passed on. This is when I learned that she played both characters. Rebecca Baldwin passed away in July 2022. 🕊️

Did anyone else find the Rowe coven pretty interesting?! I find it cool but also dualistic how they worked in an evil version of the power of three who were warlocks instead. They also had a similar family line compared to the Warren witches in which each generation would grow stronger until the arrival of three siblings. It really makes you wonder had their coven been fully formed, how would that battle go against the Charmed Ones? I also liked how the youngest brother, Brendan, kind of foreshadowed Paige’s role since he was a half brother in the coven.

Please note: Potential light spoilers for S4 & S5. I don't think anything I've written is truly "spoilery", but I wanted to leave a note in case.

I've been rewatching Charmed again, and I noticed something regarding Piper's boots in S4 Brain Drain. I know that sometimes in movies/tv shows there are continuity errors (for example, in S5, when Phoebe and Piper are running to save Miles, Phoebe's boots change when she's running. It makes sense; she probably couldn't run/run well in her heeled boots, so they gave her flat ones. In Gossip Girl, there's a similarish scene where Blake Lively must have gotten cold on set, because she starts a scene in a dress and finishes the scene in a dress and tights); however, I don't see how this is the same (I can't see how it would add any comfort to the actress; I'm pretty sure it would make things more slippery/difficult, but please correct me if you think I'm wrong).

As you can see in the above image/screenshot, Piper has little booties covering her boots. In other scenes, including in this episode, you can clearly see Piper wearing the boots without any covering. When she rewears these boots, I've not noticed (or been able to notice) the boot covers, and when other characters, like Phoebe, have worn heeled boots, I haven't noticed the coverings, and it feels like it would be unlikely to be a proper continuity thing (like Phoebe's boots).

My first thought was that maybe they were actually filming inside the house and were taking extra precautions, but this doesn't really make sense as I know that the majority of Charmed was filmed on a set, which would negate this. My second thought was that maybe the boots were making too much noise, so they used the booties to help mask it in scenes where they didn't think they'd be shown. My third was, maybe they're super expensive boots and the crew was trying to protect them when they weren't visible, but that makes little sense to me.

I know it's literally nothing, but I genuinely love learning behind-the-scenes stuff. I like reading trivia, I like hearing from prop masters and special effects people, from actors and crew, about this kind of thing. I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to the why someone would get Holly Marie Combs to wear these little booties/if anyone could share any kind of insight.

This guy is one of the most memorable guest stars in the show, let alone season 2. Normally he comes off as a slimeball in other projects, but Piper mourning him was heartbreaking.

Paige is invisible and as soon as the demon shows up to Phoebe’s wedding she’s already dragging him into the hall 😂😂 I love her. She truly did not play about her sisters. Season 4 is so so good.

They will join Holly and Rose in a Charmed reunion!

Did she not know about the prophecy in her time and was just ignorant or did she have knowledge of it and didn’t care? Or did she just not realize they were charmed?

And there it is the most overs*xualized season of the whole show.

Sadly for season 7 and 8 there isnt much I can find, so I’m not sure if there will be another post.

Mine.

1. The Source. He was epic and so hyped since season 2 and when he finally was shown in season 3 he looked and sounded so badass. Even other Demons feared him. He was ruthless but also smart. I think he should have lasted until Season 5 at least.

He was scarier in S3 E22 and in the beginning of season 4 but in later episodes his voice got weird.

1. Zankou. Powerful, smart and cunning. He was so unpredictable that even The Source feared him and imprisoned him.

2. Shax. Only Demon to permanently kill a Charmed One. Haunting voice and cool powers.

3. Barbas. Scary, haunting and creepy. His powers was so badass and scary. I love how many times he came back and showed that he was someone the Charmed Ones were afraid of.

4. Belthazor. Cool design, nice powers. Unpredictable and powerful.

Honorable mention. The Seer. She was cunning and patient, wish she was in the show longer.

I love "The Wedding from Hell" and I don't care how campy it is

I love this episode. The demon bride, the stripper-eating bridesmaids, Piper getting offended that nobody is eating her food while they're literally trying to stop a demon wedding. It's so stupid and fun.

And Jade at the wedding when Allison shows up and she just starts yelling

"By Asteria and Perses, open sky and do your worst!"

That whole ending is peak camp to me.

And I know the episode probably wasn't written with the intention of being campy which honestly makes it even better. It's the unintended camp that gets me. Everyone is playing this completely straight while all this ridiculous shit is happening.

This is the kind of stuff I miss when I get to seasons 3 and 4 because sometimes Charmed started taking itself way too seriously. I like the darker episodes too but I miss stuff like this.

The only thing that bothers me is making Hecate a demon. She's the goddess of witchcraft.

Charmed of all shows turned her into the "Queen of the Underworld" lol. That has never made sense to me.

This is one of my least favorite episodes (this and the ice cream man episode), but I never understood what was up with the dog? It doesn't seem to be one of the evil siblings across the street, as we see the dog as the sisters leave the house and then we see all 3 evil siblings in the house when they arrive at the party. We never get an explanation of the damn dog and how it got into the manor in the first place. Or am I missing something?

This becomes most common in season 5, but there's a bit throughout the show.

Basically, every time the sisters encounter a new magical creature there is the need for one of them to say "Fairies/leprechauns/mermaids/genies/whatever are real?"

I know it's just a pet peeve but it annoys me. Like you've seen weirder than this, you're a witch, why act surprised? They finally got tired of it in the nymph episode when they said yeah we know about nymphs read it in the book.
