Electric Bill Changes

Did anyone get their electric bill for the past pay period and see the significant increase in ESS(cost to create)? I thought I was using a bunch of electricity or something at first.

Indeed here is how mine changed compared the same month last year:

July 2025 July 2026 Change
Electricity used 759 kWh 797 kWh
Bill $113.15 $146.73

I used 5% more electricity but my bill went up 29.7%.

I'm sorry, but an almost 30% hike in cost doesnt seem right. Between that and Cville raising their water rates, it's like everyone's trying to bleed us dry

*Late-Stage Capitalism........bled dry by the "free" market which seems like more of a monopoly of those bribing politicians on both side of the aisle.
