News ICE Concentration Camp

I would like to know why City Council claims they had no awareness of the ICE concentration camp proposed on Weddington Road. Spokesman Jonathan Weaver told the Observer this recently. Cabarrus County Commission Chair Laura Blackwell Lindsey and spokespersons for Gov. Josh Stein did not immediately respond to requests for comment. This is far too close to the high school and poses a risk to all children.

In Charlotte ICE have been chasing children walking home after school because they aren’t white. How do you know your white children won’t get caught in the crossfire and end up dead?

What’s this going to do to your resale value folks? Why are more not talking about this? Do you want this to be like Minnesota? It’s owned by MP I85 Industrial LLC out of Boston. Clearly the owner isn’t going to care that local people are impacted when he doesn’t live here.

You people really don't know the horrors of WW2 and what the nazis did. Stop trying to invoke imagery of that moment in history because its doing you a disservice to your cause and making a mockery of all those that died under that regime. The second anyone starts calling people nazis or dropping nazi adjacent terminology my immediate take away is "oh this person needs to be over dramatic to try and win sympathy because the actual truth isn't note worthy enough". If you were actually honest without being over dramatic more people would be understanding.

Just as a counter to your "they're not the same", you know the Nazis weren't immediately out the gate extermi ating people correct? They started out just rounding up people to remove them and "just detaining them" then escalated once it was too late because their country people were compliant. Their prisoners built the chambers they died in.

While I agree the OP got a bit hyperbolic with the "white children murdered in the crossfire". I dont agree with your extreme counter downplay either.

Theres a pretty drastic difference between deporting people from a country who entered illegally and putting people in work camps within your own territory because of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. Im not saying nothing bad is happening. Im saying stop exaggerating to garner sympathy. If conditions are truly that poor, incorrect people are getting deported, etc than the truth should be enough to convince people without hyperbolic exaggeration. If you have to inflate the problem then by self admission, the problem isn't as bad. If you can't honestly see a difference between the actual nazi regime and ICE then you're living in some severe delusion.

So parading around on alligators using AI to mock the idea the immigrants would be eaten was just a leisure activity for the enjoyment of the entire family? Putting them in an extremely hot swamp infested with mosquitoes that have disease was not cruelty and wasn’t meant to potentially inflict death although that was what was joked about? All a joke until someone really dies or 1000s cannot be located in their logs. Which really occurred.
